I don't suppose anyone has one of those featherweight sized hardox discs lying around unused?? I heard that there were a few of them made a couple of years ago and was wondering if there are any going spare :)
Thanks

weight approximately 1.7kg, not aure of dimensions i'll have to measure it tomorrow. i've also got a timing pulley that bolts onto the end and a belt for it. got a HUUGE fan motor aswell that i was planning to use to power the drum
That is the oddest shaped drum I've seen, it looks almost exactly like a lawnmower blade :P
it looks rather funky  is it a lawnmower blade? or was it custom made? might be usefull if it comes with pulleys etc
Yep, the blade is originally from a lawnmower. Gave it a nice black paintjob though and clean it up. I have a pulley for it ( can't remember how many teeth) that bolts onto it. The fan motor motor has a sprocket attached so If you're planning to use them together you'll need to change one of them. I also have a rather nice push button relay for the motor rated at 140 amps max. I also have the belt for the timing pulley.
More pics tomorrow :D
you could fight your robot, then go home and cut the grass
That was what I was gonna do :) I was inspired by the top gear snow plow combine harvester.. Seeing as spinners are only used a couple of times a year why not use it as a fun way to cut the grass :proud: the idea was the grass box could be bolted on top for grass cutting aswell. I've still got the grass box if you want it jack,
The timing pulley is 46 tooth and is held to the drum with an m10 nut .Total length from end to end is approximately 380mm and the lengthof the bit with the teeth is approximately 300mm. And diameter is
approximately 110mm .
Will post more pics when my Internet works (using iPhone at the mo)
We still have a few of those Hardox 650 discs lying around. email or msn Mario if your interested.
Thanks Leo, I'll send him an email in a bit.
