Here's what you've all been waiting for...... the Team Championships will be held at Kidderminster this year. Based on last years succes at Norwich, we're making it an annual event, and this year will be at Kidderminster. So we need nominations for team captains, once we have sorted out the captains, we will sort out the teams. We will try to carry on the teams from last year for those that wish to, but likewise people can swap ect. There will be 4 teams like last year, difference this year is all 4 teams will be featured in each show (rather than alternating like we did last year), this will reduce the amount of whiteboard fights, but we aim to introduce some new games and fight formats, also tweak some from last year heres what we have so far;

Drag Race
Some new ideas;
Blindfolded drivers
Robot Swap (drivers have to drive somebody elses robot in a fight)
Tug-o-war
Flipper Frenzy/Axe Attack
If you guys have any comments or new ideas please post them.
We we're really impressed by the way some of you got into the spirit of the event, and we want to see more of that, with decorating the pits, robots, team uniforms, mascots ect.
So if Team Captains can nominate themsleves either on here or by email and we can get started.

Oi Swan stop picking on our captain, he is a Red Indian ( Minces Like A Pirate) and therefore very sensitve to jibes and insults.
We'll be there with Eruption, although I'm pretty sure Shane (Tilly) has already grabbed it for his team :lol:
I'm waiting on confirmation on attendance for 2 robots, but I have aquired Big Nipper for Saints and Sinners!

All robots will be in a team, so it will be split equally. But until everybody signs ups we won't know, so i suggest you get in touch with all your team members and new teams to sign up. Its still along way off yet, so we have to give people time.
People who entered last year, will automatically put in the same team again (please let me know if you're switching teams). All new robots will be asked to choose which team they wish to join (this will be later on, perhaps just after Worthing, gives you chance to do any persuading!).

Until everybodies signed up, we can't allocate any new machines into the teams. Its up to the new robots to choose what team they go into, not the captain.
