During a conference (TerraCon) of Science Fiction club SF Terra (www.sfterra.nl), DRG organises a round of its 2011 competition for FW and RW.
After our normal competition fights, we may have another round to determine the winners of this tournament (depending on time and robots).
I was sent a link to a hotel that you lot are staying at, is that also the venue for this event ? I am seriously considering attending.
The Koningshof is the venue and hotel.
Teambud are making a featherweight and will see about a trip over on the bikes. good start to the touring season i think :)

Teambud are looking forward to coming to Holland with a new featherweight. Does anyone fancy putting up 2 bikers that like beer? Maybe 3 souls on 2 bikes. :)
Marien is there any chance of us booking a room at the venue. Are there any other roboteers stopping there??? If not could you let me know of a hotel nearby please.

yes please 2 nights. 25th and 26th. There will be just me and jason so 1 room with 2 beds would be great thanks Marien. Confirmation we can keep the bikes there would be good too.

Ferry booked. Leaving Dover at 815am. Got drive....pneumatics....speedo on its way....build to commence shortly. Should take a day or 2. :)
Chuck finished and battle ready. Will be nice to take home a trophy on its first outing.

Yeah sorry about that, rather annoyed because its rare I am free for a foreign event, hopefully I can attend one in the future other than an AWS
The event went rather well, just some minor issues here and there and the SF convention seemed to have very low attendance numbers (I think the weather was too good, no one wants to be indoors looking at Princess Leia in slave outfit anyway when you can see monokinis on the beach :lame: ). It is unfortunate that Chuck was out of the running so quickly, I liked the selfrights of that machine a lot. Still we had a good show and turnout (almost all of the active feathers in Holland were there, with only a few not being able to attend).
