robot arena 2 download help

Can any please help me with this problem

ive downloaded a pack for ra2 and it hasnt gone into the game
i checked the folders its there but i dont know how to get it into the game

What pack is it?

Yeah, as Daliad says which pack?

I've downloaded most packs for the game, I should know.

If it's robots, you just put the .bot file in the Robot Designs folder in your RA2 folder which should be under Infogrames.

Then you take an open spot on your team and click import robot (second button, bottom left) and pick the robot you want.

For custom parts, the entire folder with the component name, the one that contains .gmf file(s), a preview bitmap and a folder called maps that has bitmap file(s) in it goes in the Components folder (same location as Robot Designs folder).

You will also probably have a .cfz file that came in the custom component pack, this goes in the RA2 folder.

ok ive put it into bot designs but it keeps on coming up with

files ready to be written into the disc, i think ok then i go to the game and they are not there

Have you restarted the game since puting the files in? Otherwise they won't appear.

1 second do you mean restart the computer or something as ive just started up the game again and they arent there :!:

ive restarted my computer and they havent showed up in the game

Is this AU BB AI? Just paste the stuff directly into the game's folder, and allow merge's/overwrites when necessary.

Don't know if this will help, but if you are on Windows 7 (maybe Vista too) you might need to be running as Administrator before copying files into your RA2 directory. This caused me a few problems when setting the game up on my new netbook as I didn't have the correct privileges.

I seem to have a bit of a short fuse (Not as short as many people that i know) :rofl:
Its probably the fact i cant use it.

Hmmmmm.... It will be difficult but i might be able to build Final Destiny and Hazard from stock parts (Seeming that ive
already built Disector, Mortis, St Hammer, Little Hitter 2, a lame built Ripper, Hunter and Super Ginsu :wink: )

But i have a challenge for ya. Try and build Big Nipper from stock parts, ive tried it and failed. But ill try again :mrgreen:
