Re: 13th June 2010 - Guildford - Roaming Robots
Jonno even if all the current top 10 loose their fights, I can't see how the top 10 will change much!
Even so, count me in, I want to be another gallant looser!

Re: 13th June 2010 - Guildford - Roaming Robots
As always many thanks to Jonno and all the crew for a great day, I don€™t think Saint won any fights, but with Thor so awesome I am not surprised. :D
I think Thor and Saint were in about 4 fights together that day Thor managed to get a LUCKY hit on the link cover and smash the link on the second to last fight. But I€™m sure I scratched his paint, so who€™s sorry now!!!
Ed was so unlucky in his fights with Apocalypse, better luck next time mate.
Major damage won a fight. I didn€™t think he was allowed to play. :uhoh:
But the main winners were the crowed and roboting . :D

Re: 13th June 2010 - Guildford - Roaming Robots
Just like to say thanks to everyone for a great day yesterday, we all really enjoyed it.
Maelstrom had a few good fights, unfortunately the Wotty gave up in the very last fight so we need to get that looked at.
Whirlwind also had some really good fights getting some nice flips in and Heatwave did well too winning the feathers.
Thanks again and see you all at RIAT!!

Re: 13th June 2010 - Guildford - Roaming Robots
Another great weekend thanks to Jonno and the crew.Well done to Rob and Iron Awe 5 on narrowly beating Toon Raider in the Team Bud Trophy fight :uhoh: Alex would like to offer Jonno his pocket money to repair the arena roof after Rob tried putting him through it  and nearly succeded. Can anybody post film of this fight for us please as the robot should be about to land anytime now.
A long drive home but managed to have a cup of tea in my hands at 12.30.
An intersting journey made more enjoyable by overtaking a Bugatti Veyron on the M25 :proud: ok he was turning off, seeing a footballer + WAG park his Porsche in the disabled bay in the services and see a convertible Mercedes overtake me on the M40 at about 90mph with the roof down in a torrential downpour only to see him on the next sliproad 4 miles later stopped putting his roof up
Looking forward to RIAT big time.
See you soon

Re: 13th June 2010 - Guildford - Roaming Robots
Great event, not sure what was going on with the floor but we just couldn't get any traction. Beating Beast was good because of the spanking we got last time out. Funny, we never really had anyone upside down and out before so we really didn't know what to do so we decided leave him for thirty seconds (plus Hydra couldn't push him to the side as we had no traction!!). Got a few scratches of Thor, but nothing that a big hammer wont fix (a few scratches in a Monty Pythons Black Knight 'pah, tis merely a flesh wound' sort of thing)
DTK reverted to form and drove round in circles with a very suspicios looking bolt out of St Hammer dropping out of the gear boax afterwards. Shut it down so think we saved the motor and Roboteq which is good.
Good event all round and nice to get a good one at Guildford under our belts after last years fire.

Re: 13th June 2010 - Guildford - Roaming Robots
Hey guys
I really enjoyed Guildford this time around (last year was the end of Cabrakan at this event), the ants got a lot of audience and Satanix ran remarkably well for a change, due in no small part to the work Geoff did on it to fix it and straighten it all out.
