A massive thankyou to all of the event organisers and their crews for all of your efforts this year, without all of you we have nowhere to go and play.
A Happy Cristmas and a Merry New Year to one and all, and best wishes and a Prosperus New Year to the Event Orginisers, as said before,we all need somewhere to play.

To all my fellow roboteers I wish you a joyous Christmas and a spanking new year.
May all your prezzies be desired, your bird moist and your pudding plentiful.
More power to the event organisers elbows and more bums on seats.

Bestwishes on this joyous occasion to one and all and a very prossperous new year to you all ...... and the Event organisers we wish you luck for the future ......

A very Merry Christmas to all. Hope Santa is good to everybody :)
Even though it's still a week away I'll go with the norm and also wish everyone a Happy New Year. The last decade has seen such rapid levels of development in this hobby, and has provided us with highs and lows. As someone who is now fully into combat robotics (the turn of the last decade saw me scribbling random ideas on bits of paper and having no idea of how to actually get a robot running) I look forward to seeing what the next decade brings in terms of development and evolution for this great game that we all love.
But one year at a time eh? So roll on 2010; may you all have a great time of celebration with family, friends or whoever is important to you in your life. I would like to echo other comments and wish for an especially good (and profitable) year for all the Event Organisers. You give us somewhere to go and have crazy fun with our machines and are instrumental in keeping the hobby going and carrying it forward. Thank You.
Happy Holidays!! :D
...I can't say anything Jamie hasn't already said really :P
A very Merry Christmas to one and all, to all the event organisers who keep the sport going - may you all continue to do so for many, many more years - and to all the roboteers who continue to welcome, amaze, and slightly scare me each time I'm at an event. Have a good one guys :)
Man, wish I could fly over to where you lot all are soon... :(
Regardless, have a great time at Christmas and New Years everybody. We'll do the same. Cheers! :)

Pillar drill, BIG rolling tool case, 100 peice drill set, precision screwdrivers, Family Guy Series 8, various cloths and some nice aftershave
Anyone else get what they want ?
Happy Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas from all at Robots Live, i had a new Roboteq (to replace the one David blew up last year) arrive yesterday, thats all i've got so far!
Merry Christmas to all.
I wouldn't say I 'got what I wanted' as I hadn't asked anyone for this and hadn't expected to be anywhere near one for a while (have been slowly saving up with the intention of pruchasing in a year, if not more) but:
TADA!!

A Roland TD-9KX Electronic Drumkit :D :D :D
I love my parents! I also owe them a helluva lot of money as I've agreed to paying for two-thirds of it!
merry xmas :)
i got a fender bass/amp, a small foam rc glider, a tool kit, some cloaths, a giant lollpop  errr i got my saburtooth fixed :proud: and a signed audio message from the foo fighters
I got a nice new set of pointy sticks of doom (otherwise known as arrows) and a bottle of 18 year old single malt, possibly not the most sensible combination. :D
I got South Park boxsets, selection boxes, a DVD of Chewin The Fat Live, Scooters newest album.
I had also found out this morning when I got a phone call from Jonno that I had also got a Battle Rat to add to my army, a new TX and Speed Controller, but due to problems with the postal service, they never made it in time :( Anyway I had a great day and I hope everyone else did too!
:)
Liam,
Luke got a Battlerat as well, we've just spent the best part of seven hours building it but it's running and just needs a bit of adjustment on the flipper but it's working great.
Nice little kits and very well put together (Jonno's bit anyway). Managed not to blow the speed controller up (tried though) which is somewhat of an achievement for me.
Tomorrow is decorating day for the rat which should be fun.
Anyway, hope you all had a good one
Andy
Merry Xmas everyone.
RR 2010 will be launched very soon, when i get out of xmas mode !!!

I would say 'for shame' Jonno, but I know the feeling. Got beaten at bowling the first time I played against my mum. Doesn't sound so bad but it was her first time interacting with the Wii and she couldn't tell her A button from B button!
Tried Wii Fit for the first time yesterday, and it told me my fitness age was 35!
A computer game I tells ya. Grrr
It's not my wii I've got a very manly xbox 360... Don't get the wrong idea.
igot it for kirsti but had to try it didn't I :-)
I thought that you bought Kirsti a new dress, suppose you tried that as well.
Of course, he's got to have something fetching to wear the next time he hits the Newcastle social scene at night :wink:Quote:
