Now imagine a rollover design at the back, similar to Mega Morg.... But it's got ladybird fur all over it!
Anyway, more pics, as those were taken yesterday...

Sweet. How long did it take to assemble?
It would have taken 3 days, but the weapon motor broke, so we had to order a new one.
It took 14 days (yes, that's how bad the delivery system is around here!)
George@TeamZog
Still, 3 days for a project like that (not counting the delay of the postal services) is not too bad at all. I'd like to see them perform in anger. :)
Now for the rollover shell....
George@TeamZog
Just ordered the polycarb. Expect build in a couple of days... :)
Id love to see it finished
Btw can you do a vid of it self righting
Well as soon as I can get the weapon motor fixed (for a 2nd time), then sure!Quote:

I followed the instructions... :?:
kl robot George, how long did it take you to make it? :)
About a week. It would of taken 3 days, but the motor broke. I'm actually still putting the finishing touches on it now.
Oh and Toby, try using proper grammar. You will get flamed for that otherwise. :)
I'm scrapping the roll-over shell, instead I'm using it on my heavy. It's staying with the original BattleRatz design. Sorry fellas.
Have put fur on body panels now, looks very nice :)
From now on this thread will be for all my future creations.
Progress on my new FW, Apollo, is coming along nicely. All the electrical components have arrived (apart from the LED, easy to get though), and the chassis and armour have been made. Just waiting for a 40cm steel pole to arrive, and a nice pick-axe. Wheels? We'll come to them later...
Anyone know where and how to get/make a gear system? I'm using the same drives as Matt's robot, Artemis...
Shame you got all the bits already, tony (Froggy) is selling his axe robot now.
What kind of gear system you wanting? Just simple reduction like matts got? do you know if you want Gear drive, chain drive or belt drive?
how do you think a battlerat will do in a fight with beauty 2 hmmmmmmmmmmmm lol
Could use them for spares, maybe... Just bad timing, I suppose.Quote:

After all, I want the motors at the front, to keep the weight there, so then it's a good thwackbot.
BUMP
A quick update on LR Evo.
Its been renamed, and has had a completely new paintjob. It's now called Psycho Gizmo. I'm not revealing anything else.
But Luke, you can't call it the demented strawberry anymore, as it doesn't look like one now.
