W.A.R: Teams of mayhem!

(first of all can i say this will probably kick off much later in the year due to exams, events and the fact i need to get my other tournaments done :P, however this gives you guys more time to make your bots!)

Hey Guys,

well, welcome to W.A.R: Teams of mayhem!

this event is different to any other i have done, 4 teams of 2 vapourboteers will compete in this event.

basically (lets say person A and person B teamed up) they would make a robot between them (a vapour of course) using MSN, PM'S, Phone calls and Email etc etc to communicative about stats. when this is done, we should have 4 robots (one from each team). Then, please PM me with your stats, and your names and team name...DO NOT POST THEM HERE! THEN THE OPPONENTS WILL KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEIRS BEAT YOURS!

this is how the draw works (with team A,B,C and D, remember this example draw may not be the one i use in the real thing!)

A VS C
B VS D

the 2 winners go through to the final, while the losers fight it out for 3rd.

so... (remember this may not happen)

A VS C = A WINS
B VS D = D WINS

3rd place fight: (again totally random)

C VS B = B WINS = TEAM B GETS 3RD PLACE

Final:

A VS D = A WINS = TEAM A GETS 1ST WHILE TEAM D GETS 2ND

the rules:

wheeled robots can weigh 250kg
tracked and shuffling robots can weigh 300kg
walkers can weigh 500kg
the arena is the battlebots arena (battlebox)
no flying robots
no liquid weapons

i have the last say whether it can compete or not :)

so, join up and make me proud :)

also, if possible can you make a picture of your robot to accompany the stats?

Besides, we have nothing to lose. With the 250kg weight limit(A bit excessive, Jack. Maybe you could change it?), you could build the ultimate rambot, crusher, spinner, or flipper.

ah but that's the beauty of it mark, 4 of the ultimate robots, fighting against each other = epic win :D

yes im back!!! and im ready to rumble! focusing just on this now, so entrys have to be in by the 1st of april (and no thats not a april fool...that comes later :P)

right, with marks departure im a bit stuck with what to do with jordan/marks team, jordan, your totaly allowed to enter your current robot by yourself (seeing as the sucumstances...) but you can team up with sombody else if you wish,

Armour: 7mm Hardox
Speed: 20mph
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, 5mm elsewhere
Turning Circle: 0m
Weapon: The weapon is a Series 7 Atomic style flipper, powered by a 100mm bore 180mm stroke ram, connected to 2 Co2 diver bottles at 145psi. It can flip 500kg and lift 750kg.
Srimech: The flipper.
Strengths: Low, fast, and angry...
Weaknesses: Not that well controlled.
Bio: Named after a character from Soul Calibur IV(As if we haven't had enough bots named after Soul Calibur characters by Kody Kunz...), Kamikirimusi is prepared to fill the shoes of Shufflewhack.
Win/Loss Ratio: N/A

The weight limit for this tournament is 250 kg and it's meant to be one robot per pair designed as a team (unless its a cluster).

I will go with you but would also like to see how wunderbar goes so if you don't mind possibly being stuck with it then were a team.

alright, just want to put this back in the public eye, i DID have everybodys (exept for Joeys teams) entrys, but unfortunetly during the gap my old computer (which had all the stats) died, so i dont think i have all the stats anymore, so if people could resend them that would be great! also Joey, i know you and Marti are busy, but if you could get the stats in soon that would be great

oh and dont worry, im still doing the RPG...if anybody enters XD
