Robot Name: The R.O.C (Revenge of Collateral)
Shape: Box with wedges on all sides, the front wedge has a Firestorm-style blade for zero ground clearance
Weight: 100kg
Length: 80cm

Motivation: 4 x internal vulcanised wheels, cambered like those of Tazbot for extra manouevrability
Drive: 2 x PERM 080s run @ 24v
Batteries: 2 x NiCad battlepacks
Armour: 6-8mm grade 2 titanium for the most part, with 4mm hardox in key areas and 10mm HDPE on the base, with 4mm grade 2 titanium additional protection in key areas
Weaponry: This robot has an interesting weapon synergy onvolving;
1) A rear hinged lifting arm, hinged at the centre of the robot's length and width. It is powered by an S28-400 at 24v for quick lifting, and it can raise to 2 levels- 75 degrees when lifting and 270 degrees when it needs to self-right/reset the flipper. The arm raises in about half a second
2) An upside down U-shaped front hinged flipper. The lifting arm is hinged in between the hinges of this weapon. It is powered by a 2 x 1.1kg co2 bottles and 2 x 85mm non-attached rams at 750psi, meaning it gets about 10-15 flips. Normally the rams wouldn't work when non-attached because of the way it is hinged, but the lifter will already be raised when the flipper is raised and so can quickly move back the rest of the way to reset the flipper
The way the weapon synergy works is this- the lifter lifts the opponent to 75 degrees, then uses the flipper to throw them about 7 feet up and across because of the placing of flipper and lifter. Then the lifter resets the flipper.
Speed: 15mph
Turning Circle: 0
Ground Clearance: 0 at the front, 7mm at sides and rear
Srimech: The flipper can right the robot, but the lifter will be used to conserve gas (unless for some reason it can't be)
Strengths: Weapon Synergy, good armour
Weaknesses: No damaging weaponry

I see no ground clearance on Tomb Raider's stats... without a ground clearance the wheels won't touch the floor and it won't move :) but since it's a new robot I'll forget about that for now and use my superior manouevrability to dodge the front and get to the sides. I'm not too bothered about it trying to thwack me, as it's far too high for the spikes to actually hit me. I'll drive underneath, lift it up then throw it out of the arena with the flipper, hoping it goes to plan :proud:

Let's see what errors I can find here...ah yes. The LEM170 requires much more space than a LEM130, meaning you're not going to fit it in (did you take the armour you have and ground clearance into account as well?) a bot with 20cm height. Everything else looks passable...with the major exception that the flipper isn't going to work. Not efficiently, anyway. And you're ripping off other robots again. :P
Anyway, tactics. The flipper's majorly useless, so charge right in, get under, and clamp. Lift him up, then dump him in the pit. Easy.
I'll go for Gabriel V and R.O.C. to win their respective matches. Good luck with this Harry! :)

Gabriel V again? :proud: Well as I€™m invertible, it can€™t really do a lot to me. Try and get under the side skirts and launch it into space.
Killobite Hex and The ROC should win the other fights.

Anyways: get underneath the sides, and flip it once. Try to conserve usage of the flipper, since as Kody said, the double clutch is unreliable. Let him run into the ring, as it should cause some damage. But anyways, since I have that double clutch, it'll break down during a battle and lose anyway. Good luck, Kody.
Intentionally changing stats in the middle of a tournament is against the rules, Mark...the first set of stats, if they are accepted by the tournament organizer (Ben), have to stay.

Okay, time for some decent tactics...
Killobite Hex... What are the weaknesses... Mainly atrocious side ground clearance. Get underneath the side with the wedge, and shove it into a CPZ. Also wait for him to burn out/overheat the Mag powering his pump, as a Mag at 36v has a high chance of overheating or burning out. Try to hit the sides with the spinning rim. Since it puts out about 350kj, it should do something either to the internals or the Mag powering the pump. Don't use the flipper or drive boost, as it'll damage my robot, and anyways, there's no true way for him to flip me. Just keep hitting it until it dies, basically. That titanium won't survive the blows, and that chassis will be warped as well.
Attacking Killobite with a 350kJ spinner is going to damage you more than me, Mark. :rofl:
Oh well. I should still do at least a little bit of damage to you.
All I can say is that 350kJ horizontal spinner + newton's third law of motion = fun
