I am going assuming I get the pneumatics sorted this weekend.
This is my local event (1/2 hr away), so I'm going, hopefully with a working and reliable Cabrakan
We can only go on Sunday this time, will we still be able to enter the main competition??
I'm not doing a main competition this time,
Just a mixture of UK champs fights, and whiteboards.
A couple of others are only coming on sunday too and will just do comp fights then.

Change of plan now, we will be there both days :D
Having read the league system, due to an error I am actually sat in 18th, and due to the league system, I need AHA, Ripper Evo, Big Nipper, Hellbent, THz and Beast to lose to get me back into the top 12, since there are others above me that are not coming (Including the top 3 robots!)
I just hope it runs !

beast won a cuple for a change and beauty2 won feathers 1st time that for a long time (had to come home early but Ed Wal drove Beauty2 in final ) well done ed :)
As always many thanks to the RR crew for another very enjoyable week end, the Saturday was a bit of a flop for Saint as the sword came loose and fell off!!! :uhoh: :uhoh:
The next fight the feather axe broke a weld and the last fight of the day first hit and the battery bust!! Stopping the robot dead. :sad:
But today was a bit better I don€™t think Saint won anything, no change there, but it held together ok. And had a good bout against Thz. :P
Seraphim seemed quite reliable and even got through to the final I don€™t know were it came but I know it wasn€™t first. Well done beauty a well deserved win. 8)
We were pleased how not much could push, stop or flip it, I still need to make some modifications to Seraphim but basically I think we have an entertaining little robot here.
We had a great weekend,a big thanks to Jonno and the RR crew. A lot of good fights in both weight classes, an excellent social night on saturday ending with a group of new friends from Wales :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: I think I pulled. :blush:
Green Flag have stood down as we have made it home without assistance, the only downer on the weekend ( Terrorhurtz and Tiberius apart) being one punctured sack barrow tyre and the other one exploding in the heat on saturday.Looking forward to Guildford where with our luck we will draw Thor and Terrorhurtz in the comp fight.
well, an eventful but good event.
Started at 7am building the arena, and then realised we'd put it the wrong way round !!.... split it in the middle and dragged it round the right way OOOOPPPPS ! at least we know we can move it if we have to.
Arena was up nice and early, and the saturday night show was a good one !!
Some really good close fights in both weights... and really entertaining 3 shows !
Good social on the saturday night, followed by some fun on the skate board ramp on Sunday morning with major damage and ripper!

Shame couldn't make the sat. Major damage on the ramps! even he can't of been any worse at it than the lads that were messing around on the Sunday lol.
Swindon was fun event, if not very good for Cabrakan, but them's the breaks
