Not to be a bother, but someone on MSN is telling me he has registered for an account here, and since an e-mail from FRA hasnt come yet, hes been contacting you moderators, but you havent been contacting him back.
Like I said, not to be rude, but what gives? You know I gave up my old cloning days; I sincerely hope you dont fear that, as you can easily check IPs. :S
My mate was trying to sign up too.

Yeah i know of 2 people trying to sign up to the forum but not getting through. Think the new Mods need a slap. lol.

We get about 30+ spam registrations a week and occasionally a new user registration. Unfortunately we dont have the time to go through the lot every day, so they dont get processed straight away.
Ive gone through the registrations and there are two new ones which are now approved.

And also, has this guy on MSN with the e-mail simple_man_13@hotmail.com has been approved? That was the guy who wasnt getting a response.
Kane, I run the same forum software and suffered a similar level of spam registrations (loads from .ru). It has been solved by upgrading to version 4.10.1 and running CAPTCHA for the registration process. Just a suggestion

Kody, I havent seen a registration from simple_man_13.

Kane - odd, he said he received an e-mail back from FRA with his username and password. I have conveyed the problem to him and he has registered again. Has it shown up?

Yes, he has been approved now.
I will also add, we get a lot of user registrations where the users are approved, but never activate the account. This can either be because the user doesnt click the link in the activation email, or a spam filter blocks the email.
