Weapon: A very nasty 36kg, 1500RPM FBS shell with 2 X 2kg Hardox Teeth and small Tungsten Carbide-tipped teeth all around, powered by an LEM-130 @ 36v. This can reach top speed in 2 seconds, and brings out about 80kJ. The teeth are curved, jagged, and barbed. Has a buttload of shock proofing inside to stop it from self-destruction. Holes drilled into it to reduce weight.
Srimech: An extremely blunt spike that comes out at the top, powered by 1 X 2kg CO2 Tank.

Weapon: 30kg Ring spinner spinning at about 1300RPM, powered by a LEM-130, and has 6 X 1kg Hypno-Disc style teeth, curved, barbed and jagged to rip armour. This brings out about 125kJ, and if the spinner fails, it can use its INSANE pushing power to ram other robots to death. Its also heavily shock-proofed as well.

Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Urgh, forgot there was a gauntlet in this...
Tactics for DreamCatcher!
Each route seems pretty evil, so I will take the middle route. I dont want to risk getting flipped over by the arena flippers on the right route or get beeched on the ramps in the left route.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Middle route for me as well, (FOR ALL MY ROBOTS!!!!)
Outpush all of the house robots in the gauntlet..
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
And all of my robots have a 1.4 second spinup time.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
My bots will as well take the middle route.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
All my robots will take the middle route too

Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
If your route is not in by 23:00 tommorow Alex, I will assume you are taking the middle route
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Ah yes, sorry I did try to post yesterday but Internet explorer was being funny.
Anyway - middle route is fine for everyone, right hand side is too deadly.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
OK here we go:
#1, System Shock 4.0
Here goes System Shock 4.0, down the middle of the gauntlet, he drives near the first box, Nothing!, second box, Nothing!, third box, Killsaws, nothing but some nasty scratches there, another empty box follows, how lucky, whoops, shouldnt of said that, flywheels,
Crash!
Ouch that has got to hurt, huge dents, some large gashes and hes been flipped over, but hes still going!, hes there!
Cease!
System Shock 4.0: Completed in 30.7 seconds
#2 Shadow Zone Returns
Here he goes down the middle,Box 1, Killsaws, no damage though, how strange Killsaws again, and again, and again, but now minor gashes are beginning to show up, but lucky for him he goes over an empty box and crosses the finish
Cease!
Shadow Zone Returns: Comleted in 39.3 seconds
#3 Sheer Heart Attack 2
SHA2 trundles away from the starting cage, taking the middle route, heres the first box, its killsaws, and its killsaws in the second box too, the rubber on the left track has been shredded, he continues, an empty box is third, but flywheels in the fourth,
Crash!!
The left track is completely shredded, it cant move, it just keeps turning
Cease!
Sheer Heart Attack 2: 82.7 Metres
#4 Paralyzation 2
He zooms out of the box and into the middle route, empty first box, empty seconds, and empty in the third, but wait hes crossed over to go into a different box in row 4 but the killsaws have hit his behind and lifted it up, And now the drum is stuck in a hole in an empty box, he cannot move, its like that drum is stuck in there with superglue
Cease!
Paralyzation 2: 78.9 Metres
#5 Achilles
Zooming out of the cage goes Achilles into the middle part of the course, the first row is killsaws but he just shoots over them, empty box for #2, and #3 but killsaws in the fourth, he gets a bit stuck on these killsaws, but hes over them, and an empty box to finish, hes over the line
Cease!
Achilles: Completed in 28.4 seconds
#6 Dreamcatcher
He spins up to full speed an takes on the middle section of the gauntlet, box 1, empty, box 2, empty!, box 3, empty!, box 4, killsaws, but hes just smashed them to peices:angry:, he broke are arena, but it looks like the arena has taken revenge, Flywheels in the last row, theyve put a gash in his shell, flung him backwards a good 10 metres and set him on fire
Cease!
the arena safety officer comes in with a fire extinguisher and puts out the fire
Dreamcatcher: 79.1 metres
1: Achilles: 28.4 seconds
2: System Shock 4.0: 30.7 seconds
3: Shadow Zone Returns: 39.3 seconds
4: Sheer Heart Attack 2: 82.7 metres
5: Dreamcatcher: 79.1 metres
6: Paralyzation 2: 78.9 metres
000000>Paralyzation 2 is in a coma, the other 5 go through
Next is the trial: Grand Prix

Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Not bad, Ben.
Achilles looks to be my sparring partner for this trial, he seems the most agile. Im not too displeased with this, really...
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Tactics: Fight? or Flight?
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Id rather flee, seeing as I can self-right, so can Achilles, and System Shock is invertible.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Meh, I want to see some damage!
Tactics - spin up and attack the tracks of SHA2 - no tracks = no movement. Constantly attack the tracks until they break or the timer runs down. If the tracks have withstood the damage, then quickly overtake it so I dont get knocked out.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Ill go for just trying to get as much distance as possible. If someone is infrotn of me though I wouldnt say no to flipping them...
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Nice gauntlet there Ben :)
For the Grand Prix I will push System Shock 4.0 to higher speeds than normal, but not so much that it goes out of control. The extra traction from the tracks should help. Basically gun it on the straights, then slow down a little teeny bit on the corners
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Her is the trial
Grand Prix
3-2-1 Activate!
All the robots speed away, Dreamcatcher is now spinning up to speed, while the others pull away, and here they go into the middle, Where Dreamcatcher is waiting for them, hes gone backwards!, thay all have dodged him so far, System Shock 4.0 in 1st, Achilles in second and Shadow Zone Returns, and here comes SHA2 bringing up the rear, but here comes Dreamcatcher
Crash!
Dreamcatcher hits the drum of SHA2, and here come the leaders, SZR has ovetaken Achilles, SS 4.0 goes to the left of the fight, SZR to the right, and Achilles just plows into Dreamcatcher and
FLIP!
Dreamcatcher is on his back!
Cease!
Due to the Immobilization of Dreamcatcher the race has ended and all robots shall finish in their current place
System Shock 4.0: 1st
Shadow Zone Returns: 2nd
Achilles: 3rd
Sheer Heart Attack 2: 4th
Dreamcatcher: 5th
Dreamcatcher is having a nightmare
The other 4 go through to the KO fights
The draw is based on the trial performances: 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd
Here is the Line-up:
System Shock 4.0 vs Sheer Heart Attack 2
Shadow Zone Returns vs Achilles
}
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Rematch!
Shadow Zone Returns vs Achilles
Assuming Achilles is using pneumatics again, Ill just ram it to death. Into house robots, pit, whatever. Self-right using either the rear flipper or side srimech spikes if needed. Oh, and if Im able to, try and flip Achilles INTO a house robot, and try and keep him in the HRs zone.
If it is using hydraulics, I honestly couldnt give a flying. :proud:

System Shock 4.0 vs Sheer Heart Attack 2
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooo.... Sheer Heart Attack 2?
Ill go for the spinning disc setup and try to rip through the tracks, maybe get a few hits with the spikes as well, and push it around to get point should it go to the judges.
Good luck Marti
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Well hydraulics it is then. Get under those high sides, lift and desposit somewhere nasty. Im also not sure where that ramming to death is coming from seeing as from what I recall achilles is at least of comparable hp to SZR.
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Right, seeing as u have the stats for the 2nd fight, I will do it first
Our house robots are Zoo-keeper and Cage
3-2-1 Activate!
Achilles and SZR set off towards each other, Achilles manouvers round to the side of SZR and lifts and topples him, SZR selfrights and goes after Achilles, they meet head to head and Achilles get underneath, and grabs SZR with the claw, and now lifts and carries him into Cages CPZ, who flips SZR onto his back, he selfrights again and zooms off to face Achilles , he gets round the back and pushes him into Cage, who has turned around and that square blade is showing
Crash!
A deep gash in the rear end of Achilles, who now plows into the side of SZR and pushes him towards the pit release button, the pit is now open, SZR starts pushing back, Achilles is being pushed towards the pit, hes trying to turn away from the pit, and he does, now he darts away and gets under the side of SZR and pushes him towards the arena flywheel
Smash!!
A deep gouge in the side of SZR, who is now being pushed towards the pit, he has dodged the pit, but the claw has grabbed his corner and he is now being pushed towards the pit by the claw, but he escapes, only to be met by Achilles, who with a final shove pushes SZR down the pit
Cease!
Shadow Zone Returns retreats back into the shadows
Achilles goes through
Next match: System Shock 4.0 vs Sheer Heart Attack 2
-
Scrapyard Skrimish ( Take 2 )
Damnit, not doing so well this week.
System Shock to win the next fight.
