Hey wouldnt it be cool if someone ran a tournament only for new people, somewhere where newbies can have vapourbot fights without the worry of being called a n00b or being mocked by older members

Depends how you define newbies...youre looking at at least four people for a good tournament, and if you take newbie to be the four most recent people who became involved and did not get banned, that would be you, Ruark, Liam and me...and Im pretty sure Ruark doesnt come on anymore.
Point is that.
a) There arent that many newbies at a certain time, this isnt a game that grows all that fast yknow. Right now you would be considered new as well Ruark, and perhaps Luke, but I havent seen him lately. Right now we have 3 newbies and that is already considered a high number. Some of our other newer members are Liam and Joey for example and theyve blended in already and shouldnt be considered newbies.
b) The vapours you have have to be right, period. Wether its in a newbie tournament or a regular tournament, if you stats dont make sense or have flaws in them the older members SHOULD note that.
i just want some help with my vapours
i am a noob :)
There is a specific topic for asking for help, which you have posted in, and so are aware of its existance and purpose...starting a new and seemingly unrelated thread just to ask that is somewhat annoying and doesnt endear yourself to the veterans.
PS: Shane = EPIC WIN :)

ok close and delete this thread, ive stopped caring
Ben, I think you got perfectly reasonable advise here, I now advise you to go to the how to improve thread and post a complete set of stats for one of your vapours there, so people can tell you tell you exactly what you still have to learn
ok, im just waiting for results on another poce of vital info on that thread
MY family are the n00biest n00bs ever and no-one colud ever be bigger n00bs than them

im waiting for some more info on that thread
i did not mean about the n00bs had a bad argument this morning
Which is exactly why you should never write in anger. Take a breather first, and wait an hour or so before writing something after an argument or fight.
ok thanks
something else I wish to point out is that a certain amount of members is currently on holiday (its that time of the year...), among them are some of the more helpful members, which is probably why you dont get THAT much response Ben
keep on improving though
you and leo are the only ones who have offered to help me, thanks
LOL!
what even makes it more annoying is how that link actually IS usefull for people not familiar with internet forums :proud:
nice Aaron
yep, just replace steam for this forum and youd be spot on.

So what have you been doing since PAC, Tim? :)
After a bit of research, Im not sure Ben and Tim have any connection...
Shush, Joey. :P
thanks joey, at least someone believes me
That doesnt mean you can get away with things :proud: There is some heightened suspicion here because of a few people who were less than civilised in their behavior, and your actions since arriving - starting threads like this one which serve no clear purpose, giving vague information such as in the improving thread - havent exactly endeared you to some of the people here.
If you want advice, the best I can give is to not argue back at people, which generally makes things worse - people like Kody are experienced in this activity and generally, when theyre angry at you, its for a reason. Read through past threads, like the archives of the How Could I Improve... thread, to get lessons on what to do and what not to do, as that saves everyones sanity when you dont ask questions that have been asked before. It takes some time, but is worth it - it certainly helped me out when I first joined.
And remember that people are offering you advice on how to improve - you should take that on board.
-Joey, who is probably going to look very stupid for posting this at some point
Well Joey I commend you for your effort anyway. :)
And Ben, what Joey said is the reason you might think the whole world is against you here even though that is not the case (did you guys have the cartoon Calimero in the UK?).
This is one point I like to make in general: Treat people with respect even if you dont agree with them and try to explain in a normal tone why you dont agree. He might even come around to your point of view. Try to refrain from name calling and questioning peoples sanity (except mine, Im as loony as a 3 dollar bill). :)

It might have played under a different name, its actualy an Italian cartoon.
Mute point now anyway, but I thought Id give some background info anyway. Yes Im bored. :)
