Paint? he must use a CAD program
Kody uses Rhino 3D I believe. But pretty much any 3d/cad program will do if you know how to use it.
i do not know how to use it can anybody help
have you got the program? theres some tutorials you might wanna try
Look around on the internet, its far easier to learn the basics from guides and then get actual people to show you tricks than the other way round. Infact, there might be help files with it that can tell you basics...
ok thanks Alex what do you use
Alex used Rhino in the past and he uses 3D Max now. 3D Max however isnt very beginner friendly IMO and its only pre is the texturing options. I found Rhino relatively easy to learn by trial and error and also by doing several tutorials that come with the program. Please try the tutorials.
Were you able to download Rhino btw?
PS. An alternative, also relatively beginner-friendly, is SolidWorks. SolidWorks is meant to make blueprints for a production process so I must admit Rhino is more suited for the needs of vapourboteers.
Actually, I never used Rhino, lol. I used to use ProDesktop which is relatively beginner friendly.
3DS Max is definatly not what you want to be using at beginner levels - the only reason I use it is that I need to be able to use it ery well for my degree so all practise is good. And I can do fancy texturing as Martijn mentioned...
If you can get hold of it, Id definatly recommend ProDesktop.
As a new Rhino user, I can honestly say that once you understand what everything does (and get some good help from Kody and Martijn :proud:) it is quite easy to use. Of course I still make the odd mistake here and there and sometimes have a good old moan about it on MSN, but as Alex said above, all practice is good.
Ive never used Rhino before but if it is anything like most 3D apps Ive worked with, just mess around with the functions and you will figure it out.
