		Roaming Robots International
Ok, so after 3 years of hard work, i can now finally announce that Roaming Robots has started its world tour !!!

We are sat here by the pool, in Doha, (QATAR) in the middle east.

We have been here for 6 days so far, and are on day 4 of 7.

We are inside the biggest Shopping centre in Doha, and for the first time the middle east is experiencing Robot Wars !!!

our shows are creating a big stir over here, and the 5 level balcony when we are active is full !!
Over the 7 days we will have performed in front of nearly half a million people !!! :)

Interest has been so great that we are already beeing asked to travel to other contries out here, one Lawyer even wanted to book us for an extra 7 days instead of returning... tempting... very tempting :)

Other contries will in the future include, Kuwait, Italy, Germany, and California !!!!

Missing you, and wish you were here :)

Signed by the Roaming Robots International Team !

 :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

-

		Roaming Robots International
		yes, we certainly did.

Well its 2.22am here, just popped online to chat to kirsti.

We work from 5pm until 10pm, but then we end up staying at the shopping centre getting the robots ready for the next day. And of course a few fun fights out of hours !!

The boys are at the moment in our hotel room, rewiring mighty mouses control circuit as its not looking so good after a good kicking from ripper today !!

Every robot has had its problems, but they are lasting the distance so far... 7 days is a long time though to keep them going with limited spares and equipment !! Although i must say the local guys here have been fab in helping us with things.

We dont seem to go to bed until about 4am most nights.

the hotel has a nice pool, although we had to show the staff how to clean it !!

 Thats about it for now.

 bye bye :)

just nicked the laptop from jonno and i will now tell you all what its really like. its hot. the food everywhere is good. i have got to know a few people in the shopping center and even haggled a free icecream for a drive of a pay to drive robot. the hotel is good and me pete and john bell are trying to out do each other with the old gags like biscuit crumbs in the bed. tee hee hee. cant believe the petrol is only 15p a litre. WHAT is that all about. Doha all in all is well nice and the people are nice and helpful. feels good to be part of the team and we are all enjoying ourselves. jonno has been doing the commentry and myself have been filling in when jonno is battling. EVEN pete lale did some commentry today. my hat goes off to jonno, he has worked his ass off for this and he will be very successful. good for him :) roaming robots is going world wide now there is no doubt about that so my advice is to get your robots ready and well built for a full weeks entertaining as i will be the one who decides who goes and who stays. only the realible will be able to go. :) :)

 laters guys

Well, were back in cold wet england once again !!

Just got the robots to pick up from heathrow when the paperwork has been finalised tonight and we close the chapter on an eventful event.

We had highs, lows, and everyday there was a challenge we had to face, but overall it was fantastic. And we even have all the machines still working.

The future is looking very bright, and already work has begun on our next trip.

We learned a lot from this trip and have already decided what worked, and what needed to change if we did it again.

There will be an event report on the site soon, with lots of pictures. But certainly the highlight was the last day where we actually got to see some sunshine..

 Swimming in the sea
 Jet skiing
 Quad Biking in the dessert

 Fantastic :) A dream come true !

		Roaming Robots International
Ok, so the next country on the list is Singapore€¦. which is now confirmed.

I will be heading out there for 10 days at the end of May to run one of my big educational projects. This should certainly be a reoccurring event, which is planned to happen twice a year if all goes well.

Also I am in final negotiations with another shopping centre exhibition in the Middle East€¦ this time we are heading to Kuwait for 5 days.

We are now about to have a new class 2 arena built for these kind of events which will be shipped in a container, taking the strain off using our UK equipment. Eventually we may have to consider building a new set of robots too !!!

For those of you who may be interested, I will be keeping my eye out for good strong reliable robots at our events who may want to come out with us for these international events in the future. They are open to all.

Well Done Jonno! Will there be event reports on the site?

-

		Roaming Robots International
		yeah, there will be,

Lifes just too hectic at the moment, been working everyday since I got back, no day off, Birthday parties, educational events etc.... My real job :)

Today was my first day to catch up on paperwork and emails.

When I get 5 mins ill sort out the massive amount of photos, and write an event report and send it to mr stu for the site.
