i dont think the shell would rust, i seem to remember it having a plastic wheelie bin lid.
apart from that i have no idea, the team were from kent.
I would like to know where roadblock is now. that would be a cool robot to have on display.
so many robots from the early days that you dont see anymore, who remembers napalm LOL,
i always wanted comengetorix to do well, or was it vercengetorix cant remember now, it was similar looking to Mortis.

I believe Roadblock is still at Bodmin College.

I remember Napalm. They shouldve replaced the Wheelchair Motors.

Why Vercingetorix was changed to Comengetorix, I have no clue.

i think comengetorix was the robot name and the team were called vercengetorix.

Wrong.

They were Vercingetorix in series 2, and series 4s southern annihilator, but changed to Comengetorix in the first extreme.

They were Vercingetorix in series 2, 3 and 4 (as well as the southern annialator), then changed to Comengetorix in extreme 1. They did not appear in series 5 or 7, but reached round 2 of heat J in series 6, losing to Hydra.

As for Killertron , I dont know, but you claim to be in contact with them!

spoke to Ian from comengetorix, the robot is now changed back to vercingetorix as a tracked machine, he finds this more suitable for demos, the robot is still used for school demos and stuff. he said he has lost touch with other people since the forum closed. i gave him details to this forum and whats going on, so perhaps he may join.

Series 2: Made it to the heat semi-final before being pitted.

Series 4: Didnt do too well, and was first one out in the Southern Annihilator.

First round against Terrorpin...if I recall correctly somehow ended up in the pit with Terrorpin on top of them.

Terrorpin vs Vercingetorix = Terrorpin

Just beaten to it ...I was in the same group but cant for the life of me remember the fight.

I think I remember it, but it should be on Challenge soon, theyre showing RW3 again.
Vercingetorix never really got the flipper to turn Terrorpin over, and eventually Terrorpin pushed them around the arena and into the pit (then drove in itself). In RW4 it didnt do that badly Mark, flipped Fat Boy Tin in round one, but came up against Spawn of Scutter in round 2.

Liam, have you ever seen an advert with KO, Beast and Thor in on challenge?

they came round to film it flipper rubbish and that (there idea) we didnt think it would turn out to be anything but wondering if people who watch the channel have seen it
