Vapourbot Images...

For those of you that have some pictures of your vapourbots... heres your chance to show em off.

The problem is that we dont really need a thread like this. We have our own forums for our pictures and we know how to get to them.

Out of interest, are you actually secretly asking us to show you pictures of our vapours? :proud:

Whoa! That is simply incredible! However you have done those textures, particularly on the skirts, it looks very realistic. Great job! Now to look forward to the rest of the new stats! :proud:

I would post some pictures, but a lot of them got destroyed when my hard-drive crashed :sad:

I made them in 3ds max, essentially modelling and texturing them as if they were going into a modern game. Albeit at a static model, not my best work either, I was going to do better detail on the t-bar and the skirt hinges, but got fed up, lol.

Im even more scared of Achilles now. :sad:

Alex, when exactly did you change from a very good to an outstandingly awesome renderer?:rofl:

Possibly sometime in the year and a half of my degree so far which is essentially half 3d modelling, lol.
Its a totally different program to my old models, the old one would only let me use flat predefined textures of different materials, for this I made all the textures from scratch. The old program was essentially a 3d cad package for schools, whereas this one is an industry standard 3d modelling package for games and animation so I can do a lot more with it.
On the downside, it takes far longer to do the same stuff.

some very nice looking vapourbots lads. impressed. :) liar 2 and sheer heart attack looking good. could build them :)

Frank, could you post The Disc 5... that is if you have it.

I could... If I still had it. Its fairly easy to draw though, so I can always re-make it. Getting around to it is another story. Its not that I cant be bothered, Im just lazy:proud:
