Hi everyone!
Can anyone tell me, what the weight of a 20oz bottle should be full? The bottle I have is a pure energy 20oz bottle.
About 1.7Kgs
I would have thought 1.36 kg. 20 oz is 567 g. Weigh your empty bottle to know for sure.
I was basing that weight on http://www.anythingxtreme.com/Pure-E...C1390.aspxthis
Andrew ...The weight ... both full and empty ...will be stamped on your bottle.
Ive just looked at one of mine.
Just the Ali bottle 0.75kg
TARE Weight ( With valve but empty ) 0.85kg
Weight CO2 ( 20 oz ) 0.52 KG
ALL the above info was stamped on the bottle.
ADD 0.85 and 0.52 .... TOTAL 1.37 Kgs
Thanks everyone! The total weight of my bottle with valve is around 0.9kg empty.... So im looking for a total weight of 1.42kg?.. or..1.467kg.. My wife says the convertion is 20x28.35= 567 grams.....Woody,how do you get to 520 grams?..My burst disk has a 3000psi stamp and i dont want it to go pop!!:)
The correct weights should be stamped around the neck of the bottle.
The fill weight of co2 is stamped on the bottle.
My 20oz paintball bottle obviously isnt 20oz .... its stamped as 0.52kg... or as your good wife pointed out 18.34244 avdp ounces.
ALL INFORMATION WILL BE STAMPED ON THE BOTTLE.
There is loads of info on this bottle, but i guess the line im looking at is...tare .85kg / .52kg co2.So i will be filling my bottle to...1.42kg.Thanks Woody and Thanks Kane.:)
So i will be filling my bottle to...1.42kg
Ummm ... Why?
tare .85kg / +1>.52kg co2 ...its 1.37kg.

I suspect that the discrepency between the expected co2 weight of 20oz and the actual weight of 0.52kg ( 18.34oz ) is due to a disparity in the European and American legislation ... I.E. They are 20 oz American paintball bottles but to comply with C.E. directives they are stamped with our European fill ratio.
Your bottle has ... or should have ... a Pi sign stamped on it to make it legal for use.

Hi woody
The stamp on my bottle says tare .85kg,but when i weigh it i get .9kg..so .9 + .52 = 1.42kg.
I will check the weight on sat with the arenas scales.
