I can, but Ive just heard someone beat me to it. :)
ok np
speaking of rules, i heard something about fw weight going up to 13 odd kg, is this happening? it would help any fw builders with machines on the go at present:proud:
Well, that is not set in stone. So dont go building with 13.6kg in mind just yet.
true but we dont know yet so build a feather to 12kg with an active weapon and see what you come up with then if the weight goes up you dont have to drill holes every where!!
Thats a way to do it I guess. We now are in the process of shaving of every gram we can find in Hannibalito 3 to have out speed 900s in, and still be within 12kg. Holes alone will not make it.
Its not easy, but we will do it. If the weight limit goes, great, but im not betting on it just yet.
Not easy Leo? Im drilling holes in M6 bolts.... But Hannibalito III will drive on the powerfull speed 900s. With 1 ton of force on the ram.
If the weight goes up, what in effect doesnt concern me much, Hannibalito I and IV will be there.....
Back on topic. Last robogames in the US, at least 2 robots build by the FRA pneumatic rules competed in the US. Rocket and Devestator.
This has proven our rules for FP pneumatics are safe and work fine. The RFL rules reflect the changes compared to the BattleBots rules.
To make the feathers over the world more compatible, the only change we now need is the weightlimit.
Otherwise , if any of the Europeans is to compete in the US ,in Australia or Brazil, the European feathers will be disadvantaged.
For me, its just another mechanical challenge.
