Spectrum radio for robots

Technobots have no more Spectrum Spektrum DX6 BR 2.4GHz Radio Set 3030-005 r/c equipment for sale at the moment dose anyone know anybody with one for sale.

IF your thinking that you might build a Feather ....buy another BR6000 Receiver at the same time.

Id ask if they could swap the AR6000 for a BR6000.

I received the radio yesterday and fitted it in it works very well. Are there any adjustments made to the transmitter to improve robot response or drivability do most robot controllers use the transmitter on factory settings I know each robot would be different so there is no way of telling if the mods would help me with my unit but it may help me focus on a few areas the book talks about rotor pitch and other helicopter and aeroplane type things

Mixing itself takes place in the sidewinder controller.
No playing with the transmitter settings is required.
You can if you want make the stick less sensitive close to centre by selecting an exponential curve rate.

The mix youd require on the transmitter ...if you didnt have it on the sidewinder ...would ...if I recall correctly ... be elevon....an aileron and elevator mix.

Also you can play with dual rates (DR), if you want to get the robot to turn slower, but still have the same top speed in forward and reverse. And woody is right the main two channels are ail and ele (for one stick control). Otherwise if you use the throttle for speed and the ele for steering.
