Ill be coming to colchester with a fight worthy robot (not the chassis that Ive taken to the last 2). Can you post here if youre planning to stay at the Travel Inn on Ipswitch road ? I felt kinda lonely in the BnB in Rotheram, I could do with some company :)

Turbulence wont be ready unfortunatly, hence Dave will be working on it. I will still be there with DB5. Sorry for pulling out so close, but we thought we would be ready, still having major pneumatic problems, in the process of reverting back to how it was last year.

Tanto is signed up but wont be running as i havent got the roboteq repaired yet but ill be there
this will be our first 2 day event where we attend both days, so what happens over night? about all the robots and tools etc?

Normally left at the event, sometimes I take it back to the hotel, but this is normally only if ive got repairs to do. Its usually just as safe at the event as in your car.

But you shouldnt need to do repairs with your new awesome robots!!! But if ya did, you could always get to th venue an hour or 2 earaly before the first show or something, but if you think u need to, some extreme roboteers take their feathers to their hotel rooms. Never known a team to Take their heavy weight to the hotel room, well apart from Ian L form Razer, but we wont go there.....
(In ya room Alex, but dont tell the hotel!)

No I was after Doncaster last year, trying to get ready for Eds event on the Sunday, quite a long night.
DB5 isnt on the list on the RR website, but still attending.

Yes.... hmmm we wont go into the details of that one. LOL!. Just remember.. if you do take any battery chargers and Nicads into a hotel room... if there is a fire alam (because some Div is smoking out the window in a none smoking room and sets fire alarm off) makee sure you take ur batteries and chargers with you during the rush... coz when the fire crew do a quick sweep of all the rooms to make sure all is well... if they see battery chargers and nicad packs, they call the bomb squad to your room... unless the hotel manager over rules the fire crew and says ask the room guest and find me and prove to them what they are, then they turn the bomb squad back home..... phew.... LOL..

(Now i think about it, the hotel in question is in the East area, so all travel lodges have been pre warned about us roboteers. LOL!
well i wont be staying in a hotel, we are staying at at my grandparents massive house! where my grandad has lots of tools! lucky me!

What time do the events start? Yes, I know they SAY it on the first page and the main site, but the tickets and information sheet say different times (an hour before those times).
Show times are,
12pm and 4pm on Saturday.
11am and 3pm on Sunday.
Not sure why its different, they did change it just before tickets went on sale, i thought it was updated.
