After browsing the RFL forum I happened to look at their merchandise. I must say I was rather interested by the following

Any plans for the FRA or event organisers to do the same?
And more importantly, who would buy one? :)

Seriously chafe looking at some of you guys
Mind you, here speaks a woman who would never and I mean NEVER contemplate even trying to get into a lady-thong without fear of permanent injury and the risk of losing the damn thing altogether

Damn bear fannies   :proud:

Wendy... fannies has a slightly different meaning in the UK.. I feel youd probably have to wear the thong backwards to achieve this effect..

Whats wrong with thongs ? Apart from the fact that once put on I risk not being able to find them again in the generous folds my body has been endowed with ?
-
Merchandise
So Gary you were checking out the thongs because

Lets keep this thread alive :proud:

FRA patches?
It would provide an extra few quid for the FRA and they could be sold at events.
-
Merchandise
.....and would nicely cover up any exposed naughty bits

FRA thongs? Would you be interesed Gary :P

James, I have 2 own team Tshirts. Team madmen and Team warlocks. Both carry the DRG logo on the sleeve side.
The morning star in motion.

You may not have been there on the day in question but at the UK Champs Geoff split his trousers and had them patched up with gaffer tape. This isnt the 1st time this has happened - Brighton 2004 and Leicester 2005 springs to mind.
Hey! Its turning into an annual event in its own right
-
Merchandise
aww I feel sorry for him
-
Merchandise
so i think this answers the question?
if we take into account geoffs 3 little accidents over the years, should we have fra thongs?
....please god, no!!!

....and it was Geoffs mistake - not mine!
-
Merchandise
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that the real guilty party is no longer around to defend herself
Sorry Karoline, Didnt think that one through properly... shouldnt have mentioned it.
-
Merchandise
True, guilty as charged  ... but it did firmly cement our friendship - just another of those happy memories :)

So, we can add to the list of what can you do with ductape: Repair Trousers. Goes next with Bandage Wounds. Kewl.
But the idea of FRA merchandise is not so bad. I bought the last Robotwars patch they had at Wicksteed because it can be sewn on just about any garment, and even be removed and applied elsewhere after said garment has been torn. People might like to have a FRA patch. Just remember how nice the FRA shirts looked that Andy and Matt wore...
