can i please check edgehog is entered?
i seem to remember signing him up, but my head is fried at the mo, so if someone could please let me know you got the application.
shame my robot will not be ready for this event i have a little score to settle with edge hog.
Grant Cooper keeps telling me that Ploughbot is the dogs bits- so if theres time any chance of a Turbulence vs Ploughbot :)?
Doubt he will do it alone though on the day- so he will need another Feather with him to hold his hand.
Let us know if its a possibility :)
Good publicising......I found a pile of flyers for this event on a table outside my school office!!!!! Now some of my friends want to come and see it. How funny!!:rofl:

Ordered some new NiCads- Hopefully these wont go bang so easy.
Also 1/3rd of the way there with the anti storm 2 / Terrorhurtz device.
Maybe even some new paint if i have time:)
Dave, it may be worth testing the 1/3 of the device as i have left it incase it makes it worse - hopefully not though as yours is the prototype for mine :).

Grant- thats why im using it at Birmingham- Im through to the finals anyhow so if it doesnt work ill just take it of for folksten:)

I beleive Jonno sent the email out last night. Any problems, email john@roamingrobots.co.uk asap. There will be a live points table on the go on a white board which will be updated after the first show, and again after the 2nd show so roboteers will know by the end of each show what the score is.

Do the points make any difference once you have qualified for the final? Because in theory We should have 7 points, but on the website it only sais Q.. so after you get 6 points anymore fights become un neccasairy? or will points make a difference at Folkstone?
If it makes no difference theres not much point in us fighting in the competition at Birmingham (i pressume i havnt been entered for it though)
Is there some sort of conspiracy against me cause I never get any e-mails about the events. Can someone forward it on to me please? Thanks

The reason Turb wouldnt move can be seen on my display pic.
If anyone out there who owns a Vantec 47 and knows what value (or colour markings) of the resistor circled in red in the picture is, can you get in contact with me or Ed- it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Great event, sorry we had to leave early. Got a few mods to make after trying out the Kronic flipper mods :rofl: Seem to have the power of it under control now, well sort of anyway.

Well done to those of you who are through to the finals at the weekend, Good Luck.
Update and event report will be on the website ina few days.
The arena is currently still in birmingham in the truck, as on our way out of the venue through the mud, it got bogged down and ripped the bottom of the radiator off.
The truck is being recovered today hopefully !!!
Folkestone update emails will come very son with full details.

Your in luck, one of the few clips i managed to download from Jonnos dads Vid Cam at the end of the day so i have it and will save it in low res and email it you. Send me an email and ill reply to it with the video clip. How come you left in a hurry before the show ended? Nice to see the little one. You must be proud. Cyaz.

Sorry we left in a hurry, but Dave had bonfire to attend. Plus Turb was dead as was DB5 so pretty bad day for us. But well be back, just hope its by next weekend.
My boss and his son attended as were very impressed, I think he wants to start building a robot and stop with the milling machines. Thanks to John L for keeping him talking.
np Ed says hes building u a new turb no expence spared got to be good :)

Points table online - also list of Feather Weights and Heavy Weights who are through to Folkestone. Please all roboteers, mainly feather weights check if you are through or not, there we a few changes. Pics and videos on their way.
