Motors for hydralic pumps

can any tell me whitch is the best or a god motor for hydralic pumps, running a pump on a bosch 24 volt 750 W, is starter motors god or motors whith electromagnets ?

Depends on what pressure youre wanting to run at and what flow rate you want to see at that pressure.

Razer use a starter motor to run their pump, however thats a piston pump rather than a gearpump which I think you have there.

You need a motor with a good S2 (intermittent) rating. It would be worth looking at motors from Iskra (http://www.elliscomponents.co.ukhttp://www.elliscomponents.co.uk would be the UK supplier) they do some compact 800w and 1.2Kw pump motors.

Kan-Opener use a LEM130 as a pump motor which is ideal as its not too fast and very torquey.

Out of the motors youve listed above though, the Bosch 750 would be best - but if it cant supply the flowrate at a given pressure you require it might not be sutiable for your needs.

The size and shape of the pump says me Size 1 gearpump, up to 8 cc per revolution.

I go from the medium size 4 cc.
Now a bosch runs about 2500 rpm with a reasonable power

4*2500= 10L/minute displacement

Basic formula

pressure (in bar)*flow(liter-minute) /500= KW needed
10*200/500=4Kw
To much for a bosch. RPM will drop more more amps will be used and the bosch will overheat.

Solutions.
Use bigger motors with a suitable RPM range. Disadvantage, weight and/or efficiency.

Use a smaller pump. 1.5 CC is the top for a Bosch 750. Disadvantage. Pricetag.

Use a gearing. Lowering the flow, but making the pump useable on a more affordable motor/battery configuration. A 4/1 gearing sounds fine to me to make that pump and bosch combo useable.
Disadvantage, time, weight, size and price.

thanks, a dont have a clue how mutch the flow rate is on the pump, a take it from a used industri hydralic lift, and it was wriven by a 750 watt/240 volts AC motor.
And i thingk it be fine whith the bosch 750 watt.
have a similar pump that was driven by a 24 volt/2.2 kw motor whith electromagnets (burned out) and i keep the pump part.

How can a calculate the flowrate cm3 per revolution on the pump ?

the flow rate. Or it is stamped somewere on the pump.
Or else, just messure it. Take 2 buckets and pump the full one in the empty one, messure the time to move 10 liters. That gives you the flowrate.

ok, can,t a run it for 10 sek and se how mutch it pumps and taking it x6 to get flowrate/minute ?

OR turn the pump ex. 5 turns and se how mutch it gets out in ml =cc ?

why not run it for the full minute? That way you will get a more accurate result as the experimental errors will be proportionally smaller (well, some of them will be)

A don`t have SOO mutch oil, only 2.5 liters

What is the torque needs for pumps @ 200 bar as follows:

1.5 cc
3.0 cc
6.0 cc

Have sertch the internet but no luck

According to my Vivolo PDF file
the torque needed to reach 200 bar on a pump with volume of
1.5CC= 6Nm
3 CC= 12Nm
6 CC= 18Nm

A bosch 750 can drive a 1.5CC pump.
Will run at +/- 1700 rpm then at 24V at 200 bar.
This gives you 2.55 Liter flow a minute.

For a 3 or 6 CC pump youll need a bigger motor, or else a motor with a reduction gearing.
