2nd October 2005 - RR Winter Tour Qual 1 - Merthyr Tydfil

Our first qualifier to kick the 2005 Winter Tour off is in Wales at Merthyr Tydfil.

This one will kick off the tour in style. Which Heavy Weights and Feather Weights will be going through to the Grand Final at Folkestone? We shall see.

Damn long road, James. From Birmingham, You have to join at least 2 motorways the quickest...

Ye we travel a bit further to a place called Dare Valley in Aberdare, takes about 3 hours. There are quite a few of us that fly the combat planes. Ian From Razer is pretty good at it, i think james baker has a combat plane too.

Im sorry guys, I wont be able to make this one and possibly not Birmingham too now. Just woke up to two inch flood in the cellar/workshop, its not looking very pretty :sad:

Does anyone have a spare electronize that they can bring so I can borrow for Sunday, just wired DB5 up and one sides speedo seems to have blown. Typical isnt it!

Doesnt matter Ive fixed it. One of the transistors was shorting out.

Well a great start to the 2005 UK Championship, with a fun packed show in Merthyr Tydfil.

A big thank you to the roboteers who attended, another fantastic event in our history books !!! Roll on Round 2 in Portsmouth for more of the same.

And another record for RR€¦€¦ From the event finishing€¦. To closing the roller shutter door on the truck packed away€¦.. 1 hour and 40 minutes !!!!!
