Combat robots ( Aylesbury )

Following the success of last years €œFeather Play Day€

€œCombat Robots €œis coming back to Aylesbury€™s Market square.

This Time it will take place from 11am until 3pm, Sunday May 22nd 2005.

Featuring, 12kg Feather Weights fighting, the 100kg TV Monsters on display, and the €œRoaming Robots Pay to Drive€ robots to give the chance for the amateurs to show the professionals how it is really done.

Come and watch the feather weights fight it out, or have a battle yourself.

Stay tuned to the website for more information early in 2005 !!!

Open to Feather Weight robots for friendly fighting, and demonstrations.
All other weights for static display

Pillow Torque should be there. Nice to return to where we started.

Any chance of Antweight participation as there are two antweight teams in Aylesbury.

The new Kronic featherweight should be ready by then so well be there too.

DB5 will be there even if i cant attend due to exams.

Just to let roboteers know...
We are now FULL for Heavy Weight Demos/Static Dispalys and also FULL for Feather Weights. There are a few spaces left for some more ant weight teams, but we are full on Heavy Weights and Feather Weights. When we are full on Ant Weights a list will be going online on our web site of teams wishing to attend.

We are now full up with all weight classes now. This small event last year has turned into a big event this year.

More details going on the web site during NEXT week (list of teams/robots) etc (after Denbigh) and information email number 1 of 2 is due out this week.

How are the astros holding up grant?

they are going fine atm, got them pretty hot a few times but they seem to be going fine. puting cooling fans in atm.

A great relaxed event. Put us down for next year.

Just wanted to say thank you to all roboteers for today.

And we were very lucky with the weather yet again. robots on water... new concept !!.

Weve already been booked again for 2006 possibly for two events, including one with the heavyweights, in the big arena.

So the future looks bright.! :)
