Rc Wars will be hosting the Series 4 championship for featherweights on July 18th. You are all welcome to enter this event which will be held in Wrexham. Up for Grabs will be a fantastic Trophy for the top 3 places and of coarse the Rc Wars Champion Title.

Can you put pimp down please, also pimp 2 will be there aslong as the motor arrives in time. By the way, pimp 2 is a vertical spinner.

Drill motor rated at 20,000rpm peak (will probably only get to around 15,000rpm) driving a 7cm diameter disc of a 1:1 ratio timing belt drive (disc weight 500-600g).
Guys, Im not going to be able to make it Im afraid. Its the same day as the Wickstead Park Roaming Robots event. Missed the last one and Ive been kicking myself all year as a result. Not going to miss a robot event at a theme park again !

yes, I would say you can enter storm 2, but it might be disqualified for being a tad overweight :)
That is actually a point I hadnt thought about, if any featherweight roboteers would like to bring their heavyweights for static display, we would be delighted to buy you a pint for the help. Im sure that although the feathers are more than enough to put on a great show, heavies are a big attraction too, so if possible please let James Venom know if it is likely anyone will have a heavy with them.

I and quite a few roboteers may pull out of this event to go to the Bristol event. I hope you RC wars chaps understand that the Bristol event is going to be much bigger than this, and it would be easier for you to move back a week... and not RR...
As it stands I am going to the Bristol event, so could you please remove me from the list. Im very sorry ...

It is in no way possible for Rc Wars to change the dates for series 4 due to us already makeing a finacial commitment. we have also already booked the venue and both Razer and Warhead. its simply not possible.
Today Jonno, James B and I had a chat about the conflicting events. We agreed that Rc Wars would not allow any heavy weights to Series 4 and Roaming Robots will not allow any featherweights to the bristol event.
Is it possible Jonno and James b can post somthing here confirming this please?
We are hopeing to Make Rc Wars Series 4 one of the biggest featherweight events ever! And deffinatly an enjoyable one for the roboteers!

I would like to hear some comformation that feathers are not going to Bristol... I seem to remember some 17 *cough* year *cough* old blonde *cough* :) telling me there were already quite a few feathers on the Bristol list...
seems Bristol aint doing featherweights... k... Im still coming then :)
seems I cannot get a lift up to Manchester on this date :sad: Im affraid that Ill be watching @ the Bristol event instead.

To confirm,
as Roaming robots have given their word not to run featherweights, as a way of allowing both events without too much conflict, the plan for RC Wars series 4 is going ahead.
It is to be held in a top Wrexham nightclub, and is looking like it will be bigger than we originally expected, so we may be able to offer prizes in addition to trophies. There may also be free..... dunno yet, food, drink, depends on how thing go in the next few weeks.
James Cooper and I, and all the RCWars team are really looking forward to this, and we hope that anyone reading this who has not yet entered check their diary as there is no limit to numbers for this event.
