I was wondering if any roboteer in Ireland would like to join up in a society. It would be good to meet up in say Belfast or Dublin and travel to competitions together. Reply with wat u think.

Do you really want to be called the IRA?
Well Richard it might be better than being called a bunch of [Admin Edit]?
Also Richard and most other english people only know half the story of The IRA. And I bet not one of you know about the IRB?
Regards
Ian
You cant be serious, Ian.
Hey look, I have no arguments with anybody. Its just that a website which which has an IRA section and discusses different types of weapons and how to make them, might cause the MI6 spiders go potty - I dont want the forum shut down - thats all.
Ian - you are probably right - I dont claim to know much about the IRA, so I am not passing any opinion.
Richard
Anyway bunch of [Admin Edit] - that has to be the Flipper Robot Association! (Or is it the pankake makers league)
Mike I am dead serious there was an IRB Irish Republican Brotherhood.
Lol @ Richard.
I didnt mean to knock your opinion at all I was just pointing it out.
As for the Irish associationI am sure we can come up with something that does not use those initials. Perhaps we will make the name Irish so non of yee will be able to pronounce it a bit like my robot An Sheang¡n
I bet none of you will be able to pronounce that correctly (I will put up a pnenetic spelling tomorrow so yee can pronounce it)
Regards
Ian
Please avoid the use of inappropriate bad language, Thank You.
FRA Forum Admin Team
Doesnt Eirin begin with an E ?
Ian: admin is quite right, theres no such word as pnenetic (as far as I know); you mean phonetic.
:-)
(FWIW, other than wishing we could all get along and knowing that a lot of the troubles can be blamed on Cromwell, I know less than I probably should about the IRA.)

Fluppet
My apologies Forum Admin Team
I did not intend bad language - just to point out that those robots that toss things into the air in robot-land are generally flippers - I presumed thats what Ian meant too. Perhaps not in hindsight...
Richard
Apologies I was trying to illistrate a point without using bad language as personally i dont find it offensive. But I appoligise to anyone it offended.
as for my robot its pronounced (Fluppet you were correct but I had no dictionary at the time)
On Hen gone.
Regards
Ian
