Spikeasaurus (sp), Razer, Pussycat, Disco Inferno and Kan Opener.
What about an annihilator with all the winners :)
The bots i can remember are:
Ripper :)
Kan Opener
Ewe 2
Raging nightmare

Amercian blue robot, wasnt that Flipper?
And I THINK, but Im not sure, the other one was Robochicken, but its an unsure guess Im making.
ah yes, robo chicken was the other.
How could i forget.
Jonno
The 2 US machines in the pits for Series 7 where Spartacus, and Flippa.
Flippa will be in the annihilator.
was that the one which didnt move in its WCQ?
Yep
Robochicken
Ripper
Raging Knightmare
Flipper
Kan-Opener
Ewe 2
now if supernova was in an annihilator that would be interesting...
Each round would probably be rather short-lived, but yes, it would be interesting...
*Thinks of the Stormnova weapon*
Laughs at Killalot :)
Hey Ed *(storm)
I reckon you should think about putting a spinner on your robot (No, not an independant one with its own team)
A vertical one perhaps that doesnt stop the robot being invertable
Well, thinking about it it would be fantastic!
(*Thinks of an x-terminator disc on storm at full charge*)
Have u not seen storm 2 running its powerfull enough as it is.:)
I think Ripper or Kan Opener would win this but Robochicken looks like a possible fave.
I think Flippa will go out round 1 (it didnt look like it could self-right)
Then it will be properbly Raging Knightmare
Then Kan Opener (via OOTA)
Then Ewe 2 (via pit)
Then Ripper (via judges)
Giving Robochicken the championship mug.
Tbh I think that RK is actually quite a lot better than what many people think. As the team have said it does seem to improve year on year.
and they came second in the anhiolater 2 all the way back in robot wars extreme 1
mr dave,
Kan-opener oota, very difficult due to the size and shape, its never happened, but not impossible of course.
I did say RK where a bit boring on the five forum but watching them again in the semifinals they actaully look very good and very powerful weapon, i take back my comment.
Have u not seen storm 2 running its powerfull enough as it is
Well, i just thought, it would be interesting to find out how high robots can fly, whilst bvits of shrapnel fly off in all directions...
:)
I think Kan Opener could defend the title actually, as most of the robots in there seem to have thin armour.
...By the way, dont count Flipper out. We never saw them in action, so when theyre working they might be very good.
Kan Opener is a odd shape to flip out, but with 3 flippers aiming at it at once, it could go out.
My predictions are properly wrong, as they always are.
Raging Nightmare is good, any robot which attacks the house robots gets put into my robots I like notepad :)
I always like it when they have the house robot cams on the screen when said house robot is flipped.
You must have a pretty big notepad, Mr. I-like-Shunt-now-I-dont-like-Shunt Dave.
i saw flipper in Robotica on Discovery Science and its quite a good robot (when it gets moving!!)
it looked good, with that nasty looking drum at the rear and the flipper on the front.
Chris, you can talk, robots with axes are so cool :)
Sure thing, Mr. I-said-on-my-Extreme-2-reviews-on-the-Panic-Attack-community-I-hated-Shunt-but- in-a-different-thread-I-wrote-I-liked-Shunt Dave.
A guy can change his mind. sheesh.
I think Robochicken will win the annihilator. The new version is extreme.
I think Ripper or Robochicken will win, though Kan Opener and Raging Knightmare do stand a chance. Ewe 2 and Flippa will be extremely lucky to win IMO
Time for those odds things again;
Robochicken: 3/1
Ripper: 5/1
Kan-Opener: 8/1
Raging Knightmare: 7/1
Ewe 2: 10/1
Flipper: dont ask/1
What, I think Ripper Everytime
Hehe, i hear the winner recieves £20,000. With 1/6 odds of winning that, id be very surprised if competitors werent clamouring to get in.
Odds (I think)
Robochicken: 5/2 (best bet)
Ripper: 4/1 (good odds)
Kan-Opener: 10/1 (fair chance)
Raging Knightmare: 8/1 (decent chance)
Ewe 2: 15/1 (outsiders)
Flipper: 100/1 (hmmm)
Dont believe everything you see on the telly George.
The £20,000 prize theyve made such a big thing of this year included all the prizes and appearance fees for all the competitors, do the sums and youll find the actual final prize pot wasnt very big.
Ahh its nice to have a place where we can put these things straight and not get deleted :)
Sam
I didnt see it on the telly i read it from several sources, one located within the forum. Its interesting to know however its not true!
Did anyone hear craig say something about winners receiving 5000 quid?
that was the grand final
What?????????
Never mind
I dont think this annihilators gonna run smoothly.
OK, most people may have noticed a pattern in the Tag Team Terror (the reigning champions always lose the first round to the eventual champions), but Ive noticed a pattern with the Annihilator too. Namely;
There have been 5 annihilators
1;Smooth contest.
2;A robot (Behemoth) dropped out
3;Smooth contest
4;Two robots (Napalm & Panic Attack) dropped out
5;Smooth contest
See the pattern. The odd annihilators are nice and smooth, but the even annihilators have robots dropping out. This may be the case here.
Of course, I dont know whether this is correct, but still...
The coinccidences of the robot world;
Mings 1-2-1-2-1 pattern
If at first you come second, you usually go out in the last round of the semis
The Tag Team Terror champions thing
Smooth annihilators are odd, annihilators with even numbers have robots dropping out
Series 1: Bodyhammer came second, then dropped out at the very first hurdle in series 2
Series 2: Cassius came second, then lost in the heat semi final of series 3
Series 3: Hypnodisc came second, and came 4th in series 4
Series 4: Pussycat came second and went out in semie round 2 in series 5
Series 5: Bigger Brother came second and went out in semi round 2
Series 6: Razer came second and didnt even enter series 7.
...not that much of a pattern :p
Looks like Ewe 2 are flipped out judging from this weeks spoilers (?)
