Put us on the database. Are the FRA going to have a database with a list of all registered teams/robots? It would be useful to produce an area map of where and how many teams are in each area.
Will do, Mark. The map would be quite possible, for the UK at least. I can do it by postcode. Anyone who wants to take part, list their team name and postcode here or send it to robotdb@mode7.co.uk. Ill make a proper annoucement later on so I can get teams who build for other weight classes.
Time permitting, I might be able to produce something by the end of the month. I dont know if the FRA exec have their own plans.

Right, I said Id do something before the end of the month! My first attempt at a map is now on my profile. It was a very cloudy day when I took the aerial photo of Britain. I have another map which I can overlay the points onto, but its tricky lining it up so everyone is in the right place.

Aaron: Sorry I didnt include you on the map. Im guessing your postcode is in Australia, is it? I would like to do a world map in the future, but Ill need to do some research on your postcode system first. If you can convert it to a latitude/longitude that would help.
