I hosted a new type of antweight competition earlier this month here in the USA. Our antweights at 1 pound (456 grams) are heavier than the UK ants -- but I think you might be interested in the new format.

just to let you know you have 2 classes in the US for 150g robots. UKAnts exactly the same as our ants and fairyweights which are 150g but without the size limit.
Yes, we theoretically have 150 gram bots in the US, but Ive never seen any show up for a tournament. They havent caught on -- yet.

they seem fairly underground, alot of the sozbots, as we tend to refer to them, people are starting to build 150g bots UKAnts, fairyweights are ok... but with UKAnts its more about the challenge of size and weight.
