Roaming Robots, 11th, 12th September - Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Park 2004

Following the success of this year€™s event, I am pleased to announce that it will be going ahead again in 2004, but this time even better.

Date still to be fixed, and finalised, however it will be taking place in July.

This year it will be a two day event, with camping facilities available on the theme park site.
So the usual Saturday night beer, BBQ, and roboteer entertainment to look forward to.

If all goes to plan, the event will take place inside a circus big top, which mean we will be supplied with tiered seating, and able to dim the audience lights and get the arena lights, sounds music, and effects going the same as we had in Sheffield.

Will keep you posted on progress but get yr bots signed up, and let€™s make it another great event.

Is the active light on top of the bot to show that it is powered up still needed as i forgot to fit it on gman after the rebuild for the last event i have it now but just wonderd if it is still in the rules

Yep the power light is still required Lee.
Youll need that for all FRA events as from 01/01/2004.

Cheers Lee. Usual problems- no money, working weekends etc. Were down for Debenham though, and The Toasters running fine. Im looking forward to a scrap with GMan at some point. Theres also a (fairly silly) article coming up in the Real Robots kids mag in the next couple of months. BTW, did you ever sort out the mpeg of our win against Thor last year?
