Nefarious beetleweight

Still got to fit the spinner but here is Nefarious which should be finished for Burgess Hill

Sweet design! I love that kind of invertable robot :) Do you have any more pictures or spec?

4x eBay 1000rpm motors
Brushless motor for spinner can't remember model but it's in another thread on here,
Hdpe almost completely apart from motor mounts. Lipo 3s 2200mah.
Goes like stink :)

forgot the controllers,
2x Botbitz 10A driving two motors each (only one under load at a time - see how it goes! )
1x Hobbyking 40A brushless.

This really makes me want to get Paws finished...

First look at the disc that is being made, it won`t be ready for Burgess hill now but the robot will be running without a weapon ok.
This disc is made from steel, once the mountings and dimensions are all confirmed it'll be done in Ti hopefully.
There will be two teeth with tooling tips fitted.

How will you mount the disc

there are two 10mm hdpe centre sections which need remaking to come out the front and hold the disc, also the front body armour will add strength to them.
Currently there is a major headache with the design trying to get it within the weight limit, I need to drop it down to two drive motors so I`ve got to try and power both wheel from one motor either side. I`ve got smaller batteries to help as well.
