-
Re: TXR - DIABLO

Re: TXR - DIABLO
Looks good,extremely sleek.
Return is especialy interesting, even with a double Oring return under own weight, waw.
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
thank you ram bore is honed to size then smear of silicone grease seams to do the trick with no grease piston is tight to move in ram
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
How did you hone it with a closed top?
Most of the honing devices I have used are rubbish in a closed end hole.
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
Trying to make heads and tails of your pneumatic setup but I just can't. Hoping there will be a seminar at this RC open day thingy....
How is the ram venting?
Why is it everyone considers regulators to be some sort of unobtainable item that they have to get Trevor to make, whereas you guys just got a paintball reg?
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
The regulator thing in robots is just like the burkert thing in robots. Once one person uses one and has sucess with it then everyone just uses the same. The trev regs are good tho and you get a huge pressure range to play with.

Re: TXR - DIABLO
We have had to modify a honing devise to do these rams

Re: TXR - DIABLO
We have a place quite local that we use, If we can be bothered waiting we order it online.

Re: TXR - DIABLO
Has any one else noticed it looks like a mini Toro of Battle Bots :?: I Guess that was probaly the plan LOL!
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
Ye when Tom designed it was based on toro
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
well that was the mk1 version of diablo the new one will be styled similar but slightly more sleek
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
Sweet!
Will it have a more powerfull flipper :?:
As if you need it!
-
Re: TXR - DIABLO
yes it should be quite a bit more powerful than old one but only running low pressure old one was running full pressure as well
