I'm 15 and have built 3 featherweights the lasted of which has been built entirely by me, the other ones I have had help with cutting etc. From my dad.
I'm 15, and own and operate a few HW's which I've bought, never actually built a robot though :)
That's not bad, I'm also 15 and have built my FW's and though I didn't build smidsy, it rebuilt it compleatly and bought it all under my own means
I'm also 15, and have built/drive robots, (only a few) but I know there's people younger, like Ben (hard times) etc are younger.
I feel old at the grand age of 16! My dad and I built our machine. I will be driving it, making me captain. How the tables have turned!
i was 13 nearly 14 when i built the first ML
now im 15 and its slightly better, haha
Built my first fw at 13, was uk heavyweight champ at 17 :)....23 now and haven't won a thing since :)
best engineering^
I was 12 when I first built Laser
Wow, I am so old (well, 20) that if I had been building robots at 15 I could have entered robotwars! Well series 7, the very last one...
I really am getting old!
Not quite sure how that would work, considering it ended in 2003. :lol:Quote:

7 years!
So my last chance would have been when I was 13, and if i was to take part in the first series I would have had to be building robots at the age of 7!
Not quite sure how 7 years would work either mate, considering it's 2012!Quote:

Although he didnt build it,Alex became UK Champ with Tiny Toon at the age of 9.He is now 11 and helps with the maintenance and drives Toon Raider,Tiny Toon and Tiny Hurtz. :proud: :proud:
Started out at 14-15 with some help and got a robot driving but nowhere near complete, im 25 now and got a fully functional combat ready ant, 2-3 more ants in progress and an fw halfway built almost.. yet to compete tho
i've been building since i was 12 but only started competing last year when i turned 15
@ Jack
You need to bring orrion back!
13- thought I was pretty young.
Oliver has started training for the FW champs next year , he is 4 at the moment and getting better !!
John
I built an antweight for my 3 year old cousin but she doesn't compete because she has to rest the controller on something because her hands are too small to hold it
23 and still haven't built a robot yet.
...curse you all.
you do have millions of fic and fan robots :)
Yeah, the problem is the motors. Last time i checked the motor on one side is completely broken, and to replace it would cost a lot of moneys. Also im pretty certain the pneumatic tubing needs to be replaced as do some of the valves, because the weapons seem to be constantly freezing in battles. We will definitely bring it back one day but for right now im focusing on ants and feathers.Quote:

I believe they are Littons, one is 100% but the other one is dead, Bosch 750's might work, but they wouldn't be a straight fit.
Well that ruins my plan ;)
just concentrate on bb
