For sale, brand new DX5e, never opened. Won it at the recent champs. Don't need it as I already have a Dx6 and a couple futaba sets that i want to convert to 2.4gig. Can't remember if its mode 1 or 2
I won't be back in my workshop for a couple weeks so I won't be able to send it until then but was wondering if anyone was interested?

I am very interested I only have 40 at the moment but I could probally get 60 by about 1-2 weeks time does the price include postage? or we meet up and do a little Transmitter deal xD?
And a newby question what is the difference between mode 1 and mode 2 and does it make a significant difference? or what is most suited for combat robots?

First person to offer me 60 quid has it. Like I said, there will be a delay in sending it though because it may be a couple weeks before I am back in Edinburgh in my workshop (I study in Glasgow at Strathclyde university).
Mode 1 or 2 refers to which stick is setup as a throttle for applications requiring one. Basically one stick will return to the centre when released and the other will stay in the same vertical position when released. It makes no difference to the control of a robot but some people prefer control on one or two sticks and it can affect that. I prefer to control my machines with two sticks although most other people bizarrely seem to like one stick for directional control
mode 2 has throttle on left and mode 1 has throttle on right. most right handed people use mode2 :)
Yeah Im offering 60, im asuming it comes with a Reciever if so which one? ;D 'cos I heard the Br6000s are being discontinued
