Re: My push/rambot so far
For a first both that is awesome !! Its really nice to see such a clean looking bot from the start :). good luck with it and i hope to fight ya soon hehe. One question, what materisal are you going to use for the ramps and the front and back ?
Re: My push/rambot so far
Thanks :)
Im using 20mm HDPE plastic covered with a sheet of stainless steel, think that will be ok? Im going to put 20mm angle iron on all the inside edges for suport to.
Any ideas welcome
Re: My push/rambot so far
hmmmm, were u enterin spinner events? or just normal events?
and what thickness steel?
Re: My push/rambot so far
no spinning events with this one, I dont fancy it being smashed to bits
I have about 9mm ground clearance so upto 3mm steel thickness over the plastic? that'll leave me with 6mm ground clearance. sound about right?
Re: My push/rambot so far
i'd say yesh, still making the box section side parts aswell?
Re: My push/rambot so far
I was just going to use HDPE re enforced by angle iron for the box sections around the wheels, the with plates on the side
