Tron
I couldn't see a thread for Tron any more so I decided to start another.
Tron will be going to the UK champs, I am thinking of fitting an anti spinner barrier device on the front, any ideas? Or inside information on the opposition like how high is the cutting teeth on 360 or Little Spinner!

Re: Tron
Not sure about the tooth heights, but I was going for the same thing with Quattro, probably made from welded box section to keep the spinners away from the main body of the machine.

Re: Tron
My idea is to use either HDPE or conveyor belt as the barrier but I am not sure of the tooth height of the oppositions discs especially 360 :uhoh: :uhoh:
I may have to cut something up on the day

Re: Tron
Just to make things easier, vertical spinners will have a varying tooth height. Hopefully with my new one, the lowest it can get will be around 5mm off the ground :proud:
Although I don't know all the entries, the only verticals I can think of that will be competing are Drumroll 2 and....ahem....'Boner' (old Drumroll) so there's likely to be only a 1-in-20 (roughly) chance of encountering a vertical.

Re: Tron
Thanks Jamie, I will try to think of something just in case :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:

Re: Tron
I made an angle iron (tornado) cage for 4 4 Toon for the champs last year and fought 360 with no damage :proud: It works well.

Re: Tron
Regular Octagons? So overused. Make it an irregular Enneadecagon.
