Velocirippa is now dead, due to the fact that I have cut up the old chassis.
The good news is the best bits are now the base for the new heavy - meggamouse. Pic on profile - still a bit to do yet, outer plates are timber so I know how much metal to order.

Ahh RIP Velocirippa it will be sadly missed.
The new one is looking good though, when do you reckon it will be finished by?
Aiming for Portsmouth, it is on schedule, but that is assuming everything works first time.
I will miss Velocirippa, but I wont miss the cold nights in the shed making new lids, or the itchy arms for days after events.
Shane, it will be just as much fun fighting Envy, meggamouse will be a lot like Velocirippa but less complicated drive and weapon systems, so should prove more reliable.

Shame, Velocirippa was a firm fan favorite to me ever since I saw it first in the series 3 football.
So Glad uve made the MeggaMouse, I remember you mentioned it a while back and it does look awesome.
now how bout an antweight version :)
every one will miss velocirippa but not more than me we had some great battle some win some lost but meggamouse look good

I will miss Velocirippa, I think lots of smaller fans will do as well. It was always a very colorful robot.
