just wondering does anyone know what this humming sound i keep hearing is that comes from our fethers? and perphaps what causes it? never heard anyone elses doing it:)

what speed controllers do you use? Some of them hum.
It could also be that your trims on your transmitter are slightly out.
Alex - at a guess I would say that its your speed controllers as they chop the power going to motors.

My speed controllers do make a noise, that is normal.
I think your using electronize if i remember correctly. Its more likely to be trims are out.
Vantecs IBCs and Victors are the ones that hum :D
yes i do use electronize, ill get the trims set then
knew it wouldnt be a problem but i like to put my mind at rest:)

first time i used my victors i thought i had something shorting out, the sound is definitely un nerving.
ibcs have a nice soothing hum to it, should record it and play it on my ipod XD
They just hum because they dont know the words...
i like the hum from a vantec personnally :)
Try a LEM-130 driven by a single huge monobloc FET... That really sings! :)
