Roaming Robots 2007 News.

Welcome Roboteers to 2007, Happy new year to you all, yet another year, and another set of events.

We are all hoping that 2007 will be an even bigger year for Robotic Combat than ever before. With the introduction of two new heavyweight arenas, and a very much improved Feather Weight arena in the live event circuit things can only get better and better.

The RR arena has now had its major rework that it so desperately needed towards the back end of 2006, so we are looking forward to some great fights in it this year.
Magna in March will see the full extent of our 07 face lift, so stay tuned for what we have planned.

Unusually early, we have our 2007 calendar pretty much sorted leaving us able to concentrate on other things we have in the pipeline.
This year we will be on tour all year, with a good selection of events around the UK taking us to both some old favourites and new venues spread evenly though the year rather than being cramped together in clumps. This means roboteers have a good selection of events, at their disposal when they want them.

The events have now been posted both on the forum, and our website, and they will all be constantly updated as and when required.


2007 UK Championships

Although not on the forum yet, we are planning on hosting another UK championships this year. We are in the middle of piecing it together, but rest assured, we will be launching it very soon when it is all confirmed and ready.
Don€™t worry, it isn€™t back at Wicksteed Park, and no its not outdoors !!!

The date will be August 28th - 31st 2007, put in your diary.

That€™s about it for now, hopefully see you at an event very soon.

Mind you, considering who my tent-buddies were last time its a wonder I survived it in one piece. I also needed a week off to recover :uhoh:

Yeah I needed a week off as well, shame I didnt get it.

yes, well be camping again..... one week to recover wasnt enough, i dont think ive recovered now :sad:

i hope so!!

Im planning on making somthing new for this event, i really need to know what kind of armour i will need. If there are Full body spinners being allowed i would like to know!!

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but I dont think there are any active full bodied spinners about nowadays.
