Hi All,
I spent a couple of hours last night with Ben (son number 2) in a recording studio.
Ben won the under sixteen section of a local music fest recently and we wanted a good recording to keep as a memo.

We are really, really pleased with the songs.
It was pretty cheap Bex. It took 2 hours to do the three songs and cost £50.
Youve just got to find the right studio with a spare time slot.
Hmmm where did you do it? Thats not a bad price!
Local studio SW1 about two miles away from where we live and about 30 miles from lands end.

Thanks James, Ben was trying for halfway between Elton and Moulin because we only had the score for Elton.
Im incredably proud and also shocked that we have somebody with some talent in the family.
Its been a while since youve seen Ben so I just uploaded a pic from last night.

I cant think of anyone who wouldnt like that songs. Has he had lessons or is it all natural... its impressive though

Bens been having singing lessons for about a year and a half now. Hes fifteen so his voice is still developing. He can cover bass, baratone and is almost there for tenor. So a little way to go on the range yet as well.
Matheieu (the pionest) is going back to France in a couple of weeks so were going to try sorting out some songs with backing tracks once hes got himself sorted out.
Ben reminds me a bit of Helmut Lotti (a Flemish singer). He broke through at a relatively young age in the 80ies as an Elvis impersonator and needed 10 years for his voice to develop to the great quality it is now. Constant singing and improving is certainly worth it.
Bass hm ? Now that would melt my heart... :proud: Just makes me mellow all inside... hmmmmm....
Pity Mario cant keep pitch, tune, or even rhytm. But thats all right, coz his voice is awful anyway.:rofl:
