Castors
there are different types of castors out there, but im looking for the ones that bolt straight to the under side of the base, and doesnt turn like a castor.
Its like a small metal peice (the shape of half a ball) welded to a plate, this allows the robot to turn just like the castors, but not having the weight and mounting problems
anyone know where i can get any???????

We had ball transfer units on Armadrillo and had no problem with them. Would recommend them.
Although might they be heavy for featherweights?

Castors
There is a wide range of BTUs, some are usefull in robot combat, but most of them sieze up after a hard fall or can collect a lot of debree from the floor. BTUs come in various sizes so also in various weights. But if you manage to find the right one, they are terrific.
