Interesting.......
it would be quite interesting to have events broadcast on internet TV
err yea very very interesting, Im currently doin Media Productions at Luton Uni and would be more than willing to put together a pilot tape that we could sell on.
So long as i can get the backing from say the FRA, Roaming Robots and the rest of the community Ill look into hiring the equipment, crew will work for free as ill get students to help out as they could do with the experience
what does everyone else think?
If it is a possibility to move the sport forward, i am all for it. We do need to establish what the situation is regarding rights to formats and stuff like that.
So long as we dont bill it as robot wars i think well be fine,
Personally im only interested in the heavyweights as fun as the feathers are nothing beats the sight of Thz pounding the cr*p out of another robot, or Kronic chucking robots left right and centre. would be good to present it as a sport not a tv show. give the audience an insight into the minds of the roboteers away from the arena, do like a team in focus segment get up close and personal.
Of course i think the winter tour would be the best thing to focus on unless there was a sort of mini league going at the time maybe over the summer? Ill jot down a few ideas and speak to jonno this weekend unless oh mighty great jonno wishes to speak to me before hand he is more than wellcome to
If this event in August is going ahead ( 4-5 days ) I think you would get plenty of footage there

Its how you shoot it that matters initially, not where you stick it.
