Dynastinae Build Diary
Here goes my first attempt at building a beetleweight, here is my past lists, once these have arrived I shall start sketching out a design to build it around, I'm going for a lifter first but with the option of it being a spinner at a later date.
Drive Motor
12v 1000rpm motors 25D X 4
Drive Motor ESC
Bitbotz 10a ESC X 2
Weapon
TURNIGYâ„¢ TGY-306G-HV Servo (shall be using the servo initially but converting to spinner later after gaining experience)
TURNIGY AERODRIVE SK3 - 3542-1185KV Motor
Weapon ESC
TURNIGY PLUSH 60AMP SPEED CONTROLLER W/BEC
Battery
TURNIGY NANO-TECH 1000MAH 3S 45~90C
TURNIGY NANO-TECH 2200MAH 3S 35~70C (will only be using 1 of these)
Receiver - lemon RX
Transmitter - spectrum dx6
Chassis - 3D print
Anyone care to roll their eyes over this list and see if its all compatible?

the 2.2ah battery is very overkill, the 1ah till be more than enough for a fight, except for that it all seems alright. Might want one esc per motor on the drive rather than 1 going to 2 motors, not sure if the botzbits will be happy with that.

Ah well I start it with 2wd but keep space for another 2 ESC's

also, would anyone be kind enough to help me with a wiring diagram with my parts? Ideally need 2 diagrams, one using the servo as a flipper, and the other using the turnigy aerodrive and plush ESC for spinner?

How about you try and draw one up and we'll correct it?

Servo as a flipper diagram
Lemon RX -> ch3 -> Servo

Would u be happy with a photo of a sketch lol.

Perfect! All that's left to put in is a switch or removable link on the live cable before it gets to the esc's. Also don't forget that you only need power from one esc to get to the receiver or it will pop. You do this by cutting the live or earth (can't remember which, am hoping someone will step in here) so that only the signal gets to the receiver and not several lots of amps. The reiver futuba type cables are live, earth n signal.
