Kody, I made the picture you asked for, but could only fit 3 sets of barbs on the picture, there should be two more sets of barbs (See original post).

Re: How could I Improve pt 2
PSYCHO
BODY SHAPE: Short, fat cone. Short for a cone anyway
WEIGHT: 100kg
DIMENSIONS (L X W X H): 75cm [without spike] x 75cm x 30cm
COLOUR: Crazy mix of primary colours and some green with the name written in silver with blood red outline around the outside
LOCOMOTION: 4 x internal custom-built HDPE wheels 85mm in diameter with vulcanised tyres.
GROUND CLEARANCE: 10mm
DRIVE MOTORS: 2 x S28-400 magmotors run @ 24v
DRIVE BATTERIES: 2 x NiCad battlepacks running at 24v in parallel
SPEED: 15mph
TURNING CIRCLE: 0 metres
BODY ARMOUR: 7mm hardox monocoque, the removable panel is the base, which is 5mm aluminium
CHASSIS: 7mm hardox monocoque
WEAPON 1: The shell has two huge curved blades on either side that are actually part of the shell so that they cannot be ripped off. They are tungsten tipped and the shell spins up to 3000rpm in 3 seconds via 2 x S28-400 magmotors @ 24v to make one deadly weapon.
SRIMECH: There is a pole that sticks out of the top of the robot and is bent to a 90 degree angle like . It works like Megabyte's, pushing the robot back onto its wheels when flipped.

ARMAGEDDON
BODY SHAPE: Basic box with front hinged wedges and rear battering ram
WEIGHT: 100kg
DIMENSIONS (L X W X H): 90cm x 80cm x 25cm
COLOUR: See CAD
LOCOMOTION: 4 x internal but invertible custom-built HDPE wheels 270mm in diameter with vulcanised tyres.
GROUND CLEARANCE: 10mm, this is protected on the front by the hinged wedges and on the sides by the skirts
DRIVE MOTORS: 4 x S28-400 magmotors run @ 24v
DRIVE BATTERIES: 8 x NiCad battlepacks running at 24v in parallel
SPEED: 20mph
TURNING CIRCLE: 0 metres
BODY ARMOUR: 4mm hardox monocoque
CHASSIS: 4mm hardox monocoque
SKIRTS: 5mm grade 2 titanium, hinged wedges are 7mm of the same stuff
WEAPON 1: The set of 5 hinged wedges at the front of the robot are very effective at getting under other robots to help in pushing them around.
WEAPON 2: The battering ram at the rear of the robot is shock mounted and is made of 1cm think grade 2 titanium, so it will flex under pressure from spinners rather than being ripped off, like Behemoth's scoop
SRIMECH: Invertible, works just as well as upside down.
STRENGTHS: Strong and powerful
Could somebody check these stats for War of the Weapons please? I'm more or less sure about Armageddon, but Psycho I'm not so happy about, I've never attempted an FBS before.
Re: How could I Improve pt 2
Hey guys, I haven't been around for... not sure how long, but considering I have an unread PM from January 2009 in my inbox at ZED, quite a while. I'm thinking about entering tournaments again when some open, but I'm quite out of the loop when it comes to the quality expected of vapourbots these, days, so if someone has the time spare to look over my robots hosted here, (Thanks to Kody for keeping them on his site, by the way) I'd really appreciate it.
Re: How could I Improve pt 2
Hey Danny, good to see you back :)
I've had an (admittedly very quick) look at your robots on ZED and, being completely honest, I don't really think they need much or indeed any modification to reach the 'standard' of today, things haven't really changed a great deal (a lot of the stranger rambling detailed sections in my stats are due to some idea I've got which might make the robot better) and although other vapourboteers will have their own criteria, I personally wouldn't have any problem with any of them.
Re: How could I Improve pt 2
Hey Dan, welcome back! I haven't got much time to check all your stats at the moment, but from what I remember (and a quick glance) they're fine. The standards haven't really changed much, but the expectations vary from writer to writer. If you want to add a bit more detail in, have a look at some of the other stats on ZED for inspiration.
Re: How could I Improve pt 2
Guess this is the wrong thread, but I'm going to be 16 tommorow. Thought I should mention :)

Re: How could I Improve pt 2
Lian - overweight with all those motors, and you're optimistic about the srimech, methinks
For myself, though, I want to overhaul most of my team this coming year, so I wonder what you people think of my robots. :) I personally have been thinking of retiring Wedginator, Shadow Zone, and Jinx (the latter having no real place anymore) because they seem a bit stale nowadays and nothing I think of can really freshen them up, but you may have some things to say. :)

Constructive criticism most appreciated. :)
