JP: I am inclined to agree, really. Dont forget, Gravity is pretty much one of the most powerful flippers to date. It throws, it tosses, and its even tossed over Growler in one go! Paralyzation 2 barely survived Round 1 in a melee with Gravity, it was being flipped around and everything...
Kody: Exactly. It did manage to get in a few blows but I dont think that will compensate.

And they are definitely off! And Paralyzation 2 is slightly quicker but Gravity has the 2 wheel drive so it can manoeuvre around better, dont forget. But hey! Look at this! A slight drum hit has already knocked over Gravity! Could we see a shock here? Gravity self-rights, but it needs to get away from that spinning drum! Paralyzation now on the attack, Gravity roaming the warzone, trying to...build up some sort of steam but Paralyzation still after it, eh...ah! There, Gravity has found the side of Paralyzation, it came in too fast and let Gravity spin around to the side! And there we go! Gravity gives a huge toss...but not out! Paralyzation bounces on the railing, but comes back in! The newcomer continues to live! For how long though is anyones guess, as the tides have turned in WJs favour! Gravity attacks again, but Paralyzation just manages to slip by, and attack - no! Gravity has eluded the drum with a quick turn and is at the side again! Another toss! Paralyzation must be dizzy, spinning into the air as it comes crashing down onto its back, but Gravity wont leave it alone for a second! Another flip is given to the newbie, and it soars across the arena! Paralyzation cant get anything going in this match! It turns to fight off Gravity...only fo the flipper to come in again before it can attack! But...
CRASH!
Was it careless? Gravity simply attacked the now inverted drum, not what WJ or Ben had in mind, and the flipper takes the hit, bouncing Gravity into the air slightly before it comes down, and Paralyzation gets away...its after the pit release, obviously, and...shreds into it upon contact. Urgh. Right, another person to bill...and Gravity comes flying in from behind! It smashes into the back of Paralyzation, the tip of the wedge getting right to the drum, and lets fly another gigantic flip, sending Paralyzation flying into the air again - OH NO! Gravitys lifted its front end into the air with that same flip, and beached it onto the arena wall, just near the remains of the release button! Paralyzation seems to be right side up now, and now it sees Gravity perched there! Gravity fires the flipper to try and get itself off the wall, but ends up putting itself onto its back, and very much away from the wall! Paralyzation plows in immediately with the drum, and unexpectedly just as Gravity self-rights!
CRASH!
Gravity is tossed over, and right near the pit! The tides have turned once more! Gravity self-rights again, but the last shove is enough to send the famed flipper down to its doom!
CEASE!
Gravitys laws turn against him! The flipper gets drummed up into a state worse than having an apple fall on your head! :proud:

Cyclone Force 3 (7) vs. Rupture vs. Warhead vs. Pure Evil: Back to Basics: The seed and Rupture are head, shoulders, knees and toes above this lot. Those two to go through.
Liar 2 (23) vs. Inferno vs. You€™re Dreaming vs. Panic Attack: Martyn - fancy a team-up :mrgreen: Panic Attack is made of EXTREMELY weak Aluminium armour, so we should cut him up quite quickly, but Liar is my main threat. If Martyn and me team-up, we have good chances of taking off the wheels, as although the wheels may be 6mm Hardox, the axle will be made of weaker stuff, and in Robot SMASH!!, Whirligig 4.5 with its 100kj tore off one wheel quite happily. Our spinners are as strong and stronger than that, so well take out Liar quite easily.
Bottom line - I wish to team-up with Martyn so me and him can both me it through.

Now, Im safely going to presume that Kody is willing to put the argument we had over in the How Could I Improve thread behind him, and not use it as a guideline. Im only saying this because of a certain previous writer who I got into arguments with because he wouldnt accept my opinions deliberately mis-read my stats to make me lose...it happened quite a long time ago, but I just cant take that risk.
Anyway, as I said, Ill be having the scoop on. Avoid Pure Evil and keep my attentions to Warhead. Get behind it and use it as a battering ram, or simply knock it into submission.
Chris, would you like to team up? Ill focus on Rupture whilst you attack Warhead?

Liar 2 (23) vs. Inferno vs. You€™re Dreaming vs. Panic Attack
I took a close look at both my opponents and noticed for one that Inferno and Youre Dreaming are much alike and neither has a srimech. Also I noticed Infernos weapon is quite detailed and has quite some numbers in it to run through the Team Cosmos kinetic energy calculator, which I did. For the numbers that were not available I was QUITE guillable and what I saw is that the disc puts out 50 kJ at most, and seeing Youre Dreamings weapon is smaller AND lighter his output should be less then that. Either way I want both on their back ASAP.

I am quite sorry but where do you read the axle is weaker than 6 mm Hardox? If its a standard axle its quite a bit bigger than 6 mm (6 mm is quite puny for even a FWs axle). I must admit that I never gave specifics for the axle but tbh no vapour does that. We always assume theres a standard axle and really a standard axle is thicker than 6 mm.

From Suffolk, seeded number 7, Cyclone Force 3!
Reached the semis last time, but suffered a Sheer Heart Attack at the fourth hurdle!
Melissa: Right, we have a strong pusher here. Whats the plan?
Chris: Well Ive decided to team up with Daniel against the other two. Im not really that scared of taking the fight to them.
Melissa: And you have the scoop for this fight?
Chris: Thats right. Daniel will take out Rupture so I dont have to worry, and even if I do get flipped, Daniel can right me.
Melissa: All right, then. Have a good fight out there.
Chris: Right. Can I have your phone number, by the way?

Oh, for goodness sakes...anyway, the armourment is 11mm titanium, and its 6WD is driven off Lynch motors. It has three set-ups, of which the scoop will be on this time. Its shape is inspired by Storm II but it will tend to have limited control at times. Will the Cyclone lack the Force to blow away the competition a 3rd time around? :proud:

C&B2: Sent out NSBFR-X in a judges decision, and shredded 15th seed Terrorhurtz with the disc set-up, finally overcoming Baldur Gamma in the Heat Final. The up and coming champ Sheer Heart Attack proved too much in Round 4, however.

Ah, it has MagMotor power, so it can provide some decent power to the unknown amount of wheels. :proud: Its got a 4mm thick Hardox monocoque, so it should outlast some spinners, but it cant really damage opponents, and its quite compact, meaning it can get thrown around easily. Ruptures hopes might get ruptured themselves. :proud:

A very powerful beast with a vicious spinning dome weapon that has torn out wheels, and goodness knows what else besides; what less would you expect from Razers brother? :proud: Self-righting wings on the sides help to stabilize as well, but the self-righting does tend to take a while, and it can go out of control. Will Warhead bomb out? :proud:

Evil? Or feeble? The specs say loads of flipping power, a tough Hardox exterior with more protection around the flipper, Lynch motor power, and some nice titanium/vanadium tracks. The specs also say that it has a 7mm ground clearance around the sides and rear. Could Pure Evil get sent back to the deepest pits of Hades?

ACTIVATE!
And from the get-go, the 7th seed is the first to make a break for it - it being Warhead! The realie tries to avoid the charge, but the rammer is just too fast and barrels into the bowl, stopping it cold with the scoop! Rupture is after Cyclone Force 3, but Pure Evil: Back 2 Basics says noooooooooo to that, and slips under it from the side! This results in a mighty flip being given to the lifter, sending it high into the air, and it comes straight down onto its own lifter! Has that buckled the weaponry at all? Lets see...Pure Evil has Rupture as its target, and Andy much prefers Cyclone Force to attack...but Daniel ensures that Andy isnt getting his way! Pure Evil slides under the lifter of Rupture easily, and just as easily lets him fly again! Rupture flies across the arean and lands in Triple Whamlets CPZ! Not good! Pure Evil turns back to find Warhead getting pushed across the arena by Cyclone Force 3; obviously Chris is quite having his way at the moment, and shunts Warhead along the wall into the pit release button, which engages instantly! Pure Evil suddenly feels very inactive and blasts off towards Triple Whamlets CPZ, eager for some action! The said Triple Whamlet is giving Rupture one good hell of a battering, the 4mm Hardox monocoque steadily getting dented, and dented, and dented worse! Pure Evil at that point in time barges into the CPZ and shoving aside Whamlet tosses Rupture, but only by the tip, so sending Rupture onto his back! Before it can self-right, however, it is attacked once more by the axes of Whamlet! And its partner isnt doing that well of a job either! Warhead gets slammed against the wall once more by Cyclone Force, the LEM-driven machine exerting its proven power into pummelling the Team Razer robot into oblivion!
Pure Evil however just cant stand being idle, and races over to attack Warhead itself, as Rupture simply cannot get out of his major predicament! The wedge slams into Warheads rear, and a mighty flip sees Warhead leave the floor and take to the air...for a few seconds, that is! Warhead crashes down noisily onto the arena floor, one of the arms seemingly bent on that landing, as it tries to regain its senses; however, Cyclone Force and Pure Evil wont let him! They slam into Warhead as one and take him into Dead Metals CPZ. The silver scorpion is forced straight back into the CPZ as the two powerful machines thrust Warhead into Dead Metals midst with utmost tenacity! Another flip from Pure Evil sends Warhead straight on top of Dead Metal, as the 7th seed crashes into one of Dead Metals own claws and pins the house robot there! Triple Whamlet has had enough of pummelling Rupture into metal fillings, and goes off to aid his comrade-in-arms, and slams into the rear of Cyclone Force, sliding under but not bringing down the axes yet, possibly because he is afraid he will hit Dead Metal! And that proves to be his undoing: Pure Evil turns to the 185kg housie and slides under him, takes him to the wall, and lets out another mighty flip; Whamlet just goes over the wall, and the audience are loving it! The Watcher certainly is not; he bumps into the rear of Pure Evil, reminding the Stickler creation that youre not supposed to attack house robots unless they attack you. Daniel shakes his fist at the ref in the control booth as Pure Evil is given a yellow card: the audience boos the ref; quite clearly that was undeserved, a slight warning surely should have sufficed!
But Rupture it seems just wont bow out; the lifter is indeed working as it slows props the battered machine up off the floor and onto its wheels; however this does not pass the eye of Daniel Stickler, and Pure Evil is right in its face. Rupture seems much too sluggish now to avoid the charge, and again the flipper beats the lifter (in terms of ground clearance at the least), and gliding into the corner sends Rupture skyward, and then ground bound as it crashes onto the arena camera tracks! Pure Evil twirls around, almost forgetting himself, as Cyclone Force is shoved in the rear by The Watcher, he cant pin both robots there. Cyclone Force backs off, but once again its the flipper of Pure Evil that shines again as it slams into both Dead Metal and Warhead and sends them over! Warhead tries futilely to self-right; its pinned right up against Dead Metal again, whos on his back as well, but Cyclone Force begins to push Dead Metal away, and Warhead finally is able to right itself...just in time to be scooped up onto the wedge of Pure Evil, and one forceful flip sends Warhead straight up over the fence to experience a fate akin to that of Rupture! And Dead Metal now is going to feel some humiliation as Cyclone Force nears the pit...and one shove is enough, as the silver scorpion plummets to its death. The Watcher again holds up the yellow card, desperate for order, but thats what happens! :proud:

Rupture gets ripped right out of existence! All Warheads blown off is its own steam!

It€™s Hardox armoured all over, in different thicknesses, and its flipper can throw over a ton. It€™s powerful with LEM130 drive, which can help the side spikes thwack into opponents€™ armour; it can easily be flipped itself, though, with a ground clearance of 10mm at the rear, and a rather compact design. Is the 23rd seed a big fat liar about its goal of winning the tournament? :proud:

This beast has a spinning disc on top, weighing in at 35kg, and powered by 2 S28-400 MagMotors. Captain Paul Cuomo claims a kJ output of 140€¦I doubt it. :proud: Weldox side armour and titanium armour on the top and bottom, and some shockproofing as well compose the protection€¦but there€™s no srimech, and it€™s quite slow. Has Inferno€™s hope burnt out? :proud:

And off to quick start is Liar 2, as Inferno heads for Panic Attack, and You€™re Dreaming€¦just sits there. Liar 2 heads after Inferno, however, who crashes into Panic Attack€™s forks, but glances off them and away, as Panic Attack turns towards them. You€™re Dreaming decides to head towards Liar 2, but the 23rd seed isn€™t interested in the Forsyth machine at the moment, and has its intent on one robot, and that is Inferno, but Paul€™s attention has been caught by Martijn, and Inferno charges towards Liar 2€™s wheel. Liar 2 however outmanoeuvres the disced robot and slides under it, the blades merely glancing off the wedge€¦FLIP! Over goes Inferno, and€¦with no srimech, that€™s all she wrote! :proud: Paul shakes his head at this rather humiliating ending. You€™re Dreaming however takes advantage of this opportunity and smashes into Liar 2€™s wheel!
CRASH!!!
OUCH! That must have hurt, as the 23rd seed gets flung away, spinning like a tornado, away into the corner, but Panic Attack has taken the chance and charged into You€™re Dreaming, and lifts it up into the air€¦and sits it on its back! And something starts to spin€¦You€™re Dreaming€™s body! The spinning bar and motors are too heavy, and the body is just spinning aimlessly, unable to get righted! Liar 2€¦is okay, and Inferno is doing the same as Martyn€™s robot, simply spinning in place on its back. The Watcher, after a moment€™s pause of possible disbelief at how quickly the two spinners got taken out, starts the countdown.

And Liar 2 opens the pit by smashing the button with its thwackers, and Panic Attack pushes You€™re Dreaming towards the pit, and it instantly falls in. Inferno however isn€™t as lucky as Renegade gets its mitts on the cylinder and lets the axe fly, as Matlida also comes in! The claws grab on, and another axe blow thuds against the titanium of Inferno, just as Matilda makes her appearance known with an insertion of her flywheel into the ringed side of Inferno!
CRASH!!!
And that€™s righted Inferno, who moves away, much of the Weldox torn away as it tries to escape from the house robots, but instead runs into Liar 2€™s flipper, and gets tossed right back over! That€™s the seal of doom for Paul€™s spinner, as Renegade grabs it and shoves it straight into the Disc of Death, lifting Inferno up so the Disc of Death can actually hit it! :proud:
CRASH!!!
And that€™s scattered much of the Weldox, as Inferno looks more and more mangled, but Liar 2 is becoming impatient, and with a shove to the rear, pushes Renegade towards the pit, and tosses it before Renegade can make a retaliation, and Renegade goes into the pit with Inferno in its grasp! Matilda, angered, backs towards the 23rd seed, but Panic attack comes in from the side and lifts up Matilda, tipping her onto her side!

I think Pure Evil and CF will go through, but I want my beloved PA to stack Chris! Even though it probably wont happen because CF is much better than PA :sad:

Panic Attack, eh? Well, in all honesty I thought the S4 version was the best version of Panic Attack ever made. The only problem I had with it was the fact it was robbed.
Anyway, Ill be using the scoop set-up again and my superior speed. I doubt Id win a straight out attack, so Ill just torment him.

against Pure Evil Ill use my 2wd coolness and try to get under and perform an OOTA, which is all Liar does all day anyway
Lets add 2 and 2 together...2 fights on top of the two already existing awesome fights this heat anyway. :proud:

And the 7th seed is off to the quicker start, as Panic Attack bravely rushes out to meet Chris interchangeable robot. The head-on collision, surprisingly, is in Cyclone Force 3s favour and Panic Attack is shoved up onto it, but as the seed turns, Panic Attack falls right off! Cyclone Force backs off to avoid any disadvantage as Panic Attack moves at the side, obviously missing, and moves around to get at the sides, but Panic Attack can turn quite faster than Cyclone Force can, and gets at the 7th seeds own sides, sliding under the skirts and the entire side, lifting Cyclone Force up, and ultimately over, rendering Cyclone Forces X-Terminator-styled scoop useless! Not a good start for the 7th seed, but Chris is far from defeated, as he guns for the pit release button and hammers it, opening the pit, but Panic Attack isnt too far behind and as Chris turns around, the forks sneak under the sides again and lift it up! Chris however is only in trouble for a second, as Cyclone Force, much like Panic Attack earlier, falls off his opponents weapon, Panic Attack failing to grasp a wheel hole. And now Cyclone Force bashes against Panic Attacks uplifted forks! Now its Panic Attack who is on the defensive...in fact, hardly even that, as its forced back across the arena, and straight into the Disc of Death! Normally this would have been very bad, but Panic Attack is just low enough to avoid it. :proud: Cyclone Force however has the RW2 champ in a tight spot, and the uplifted forks on Panic Attack ARE in danger of getting smashed by the Disc of Death! Kim tries to wiggle his machine free without tilting too much to endanger the lifting forks, but Chris outplays Kim at his own game, and backs off suddenly, as Panic Attack turns just a bit, and then drives back in, Panic Attack unable to lower the forks or face the front again in time!
CRASH!
And thats rendered Panic Attacks weaponry immobile, look at that! Bent right at the weapon axle, almost off Id say! Without a weapon, Panic Attack can hardly boast hes better than Cyclone Force right now, and Chris smiles, knowing his inverted scoop has a much better chance right now. Kim however intends to make him pay for that and turns around to expose the rear skirt. Chris turns around too, exposing Cyclone Forces own rear skirt, and both bots bum-rush each other, quite literally! :proud: Its Panic Attack in the winning hold, its rear skirt seemingly lower than Cyclone Forces, and...well, it cant seem to wedge Cyclone Forces entire rear end on the skirt! :proud: That means Cyclone Force is able to push Panic Attack back yet again! Oof. Right against the wall. Cyclone Force releases, and allows Panic Attack to come back on the attack, Kim seeming to rely on the rear skirts ground clearance, but Chris has played a good game: his opponents game, and seems to be winning bizarrely at it! :proud: Cyclone Force comes back on the attack again, and this time both skirts cancel out. Once again Cyclone Forces power comes to play, and the Storm II-alike sends Panic Attack into Shunts CPZ, where Panic Attack would have preferred to be after its opponent had been defeated! Shunt says hello to its old friend by giving it a nice WHACK with the axe, denting the yellow top armour, as Cyclone Force backs off and waits near the arena saws in the middle of the arena. Panic Attack spins around, possibly trying to evade Shunt, and receives another complimentary WHACK before escaping the CPZ and now gets back on the 7th seeds case!
Cyclone Force turns around again, exposing the rear skirt, as Panic Attack approaches with its own rear, and again the skirts meet and cancel out...Cyclone Force winning the shoving match and sending Panic Attack straight back into Shunts CPZ, where the house robot proceeds to give Panic Attack another denting blow! This time, Taki IIIs attention is grabbed and she drives out from her own CPZ, Cyclone Force again wisely backing off to allow the house robot room to attack, but Panic Attack gets away from Shunt quickly...only for the 7th seed to shove it back in! Taki does not stop in her approach, but ploughs on and eventually her wedge hits Panic Attacks skirt...and goes under it, lifting Panic Attack up and over! As Panic Attack tries to self-right, Cyclone Force shoves it further into the CPZ and Shunt axes the srimech! And...Taki slams into Panic Attack with the spinning blade while Panic Attack is on its butt-end!
CRASH!!!
Panic Attack is spun into the CPZ, without a way to self-right, indeed the srimech falls back in as Panic Attack falls on its back, unable to function, and Cyclone Force heads back to the center of the arena as The Watcher moves in for the count and kill.

Flipper frenzy, anyone? :wink: Both robots get off to a quick start, and come together in a head-on collision like the first battle...but neither can get underneath the other! ...or can they? Suddenly the tracks of Pure Evil prevail, and the 23rd seed finds itself lodged onto the wedge of Daniels flipper! Martijn hits the flipper button to try and shake itself off, but so does Pure Evil as it approaches the arena wall, and...THATS IT!!!!!!!!! :crazy: Holy flying 23rd seeded axlebots, Batman! Liar 2 has been launched over the fence already, can you believe that!? What a toss! I think the extra momentum from Liar 2s own flipper did it, and has sealed Daniel a place in the Heat Final! Martijn can feel the irony from his control booth, as he holds his head in his hands in pure anguish! Surely that cant be it!? I expected a long, drawn out fight! Daniel...isnt too pleased with this either, strangely enough, and decides to entertain the audience...by heading over to Growlers CPZ! Triple Big Mac sees the inevitable and heads over as Pure Evil tosses Growler up, but not over! As the lone doggy tries to get at the sides of Pure Evil and shove it away, Daniel outsmarts the house robot and getting to its own site tosses Growler onto its back! It then dodges behind the inverted pup as Triple Big Mac comes into play, and Pure Evil begins to push the 375kg housie towards Triple Big Mac, who cant get away in time!
CRASH!!!!
GAH! Growlers whole forehead plate has been removed by that brutal mashing, as Triple Big Mac is flung off its own teammate and across the arena, though thankfully not onto its back. Pure Evil flies out from behind Growler, however, and crashes into the spinner before the hammers can spin up! With a ram to the wall and a single flick, Triple Big Mac finds itself right beside the fallen 23rd seeded Liar 2! Pure Evil isnt done yet, though! It goes over and hits the pit release button, and then goes for Growler, only to find The Watcher in Daniels robots face, trying to push it back! It must be crazy for order, but its only going to get the opposite, as Pure Evil gets under the front easily, and another taking to wall and tossing sends the ref out as well! Growler open its maw in protest, but Pure Evil has already resumed shoving it towards the pit, and inexorably Growler slides down! Well be after you for this, Mr. Stickler, mark our words! :wink:

Liar 2 is found as a dud in front of the truth, and is forcibly ejected through the failure bin, as are the house robots (for now)! :proud:

Round 1
Cyclone Force 3 (7) & Pure Evil: Back 2 Basics won their battle after Rupture got tossed over the fence, Warhead suffering the same fate later on!
Liar 2 (23) & Panic Attack won their battle when Liar 2 flipped over Inferno, and Panic Attack lifted over Youre Dreaming. Both spinners failed to self-right.
Round 2
Cyclone Force 3 (7) rammed the stuffing out of Panic Attack and eventually got them counted out in Shunts CPZ after the srimech got battered.
Pure Evil: Back 2 Basics ended the fight between him and Liar 2 (23) quite quickly, and then took out the house robots! :proud:

Attach the lifter set-up and do a LOT of evading. Over turn it whenever I can. AVOID the flipper.
