Baldur will ram - theres no much else it can do except vaguely scoop thigns off the ground to mean its foe has less traction. Baldur doesnt really have to worry about weapons so just charge in.
Hopefully Ill get to meet MDU later on...
I believe I said Id be going with the drum, however I seem to remember NSBFR-X also having a spinning bar option that would also grant invertibility. Is this so, if so Ill use that and go after Cyclone Force. If not, Ill use the drum and still go after Cyclone Force:proud:

Terrorhurtz (15) vs. Boxed In vs. Mass Disctruction Ultimate 4
Terrorhurtz (15) is the only seeded UK realie in this competition. Martyn Forsyth entered John Reids creation into the C&BT2, and it was a goo idea. :proud: Thz sports his famous rack-and-pinion style double-headed axe, the most powerful one in Robot Wars, powered by 2 2kg CO2 tanks. It gives out about 900kg of force on every hit! It also has front and side skirts, and 12mm polycarbonate armour.
C&BT1: Smashed Ripper into tiny pieces and also beat crowd favourite Wedge Devolution into submission, only to get tossed right to the pit by Enter the May Tracks in the Heat B Final.
Boxed In aint pretty. :proud: Nor is it meant to be; its got FOUR LEM200s powering it, plus very light batteries, all run at 24V! It has a single 1kg spike at the front, the end point very thin so it can push out 11 tonnes of force at full speed (15.1mph)! It is also invertible too, and uses treads for movement. It may look like only a box with skirts, but Matty Fowlers devil will box you in if youre not careful. :proud: The best you could do is to try and exploit its 6mm titanium armour.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Mass Disctruction Ultimate 4 returns to the Crash & Burn Tournament to give Aaron Knight an added boost. Its basically Y-Pout, Cyclonebot, and a keg of Captain Morgans rum mixed together to give out this indescribable freak of nature. :proud: It has 3-4mm Hardox armour, and a sub-sonic tip speed of 480mph. It is quite compact though and hitting wedges frontally will result in some huge air. :proud:
C&BT1: In Heat C, he destroyed The Crashing Bore and Cassius Chrome, and then destroyed Cassius Chrome again next round but 13th seed Wedga Revo 2.0 dumped him into the pit about 10 seconds after.

Terrorhurtz is away towards the pit release button, crashing into it, as Boxed In bolts out of his spot and straight into the half-spunup MDU4!
CRASH!!
Already we have a blow, as Boxed In flies about halfway across the arena, the spike slightly bent! MDU4 is also belted away and Terrorhurtz flies at the translational spinner, immediately tackling him before he can spin up, and stuffing MDU4 into the wall, and gives him an axe pounding! WHACK! MDU4s top armour however withstands the blow. Boxed In rushes at MDU4 again, and the spike slams into MDU4s side, though it being bent doesnt cause nearly as enough damage as it should and Aarons bot is rather grateful for this, slammed away from Terrorhurtz and is now spinning up to speed. Terrorhurtz apparently has the same idea as Boxed In, and rushes the now fully spun up MDU4!
CRASH!!!!
The wide grin on Aarons face tells the tale here: Terrorhurtzs front end has been completely torn open, skirts gone, Lexan bent, and Terrorhurtz has been flung all the way across the arena, all from a single hit, but MDU4 is again thrown by the force of his own hit! Boxed In wants to spare Terrorhurtz and goes to ram MDU4 full on hoping to get him out first, only to find that hes nearly back at full speed again!
CRASH!!!
The spike is gone now, flung OOTA actually, and Boxed In is spun around like a baton, and MDU4 retains about half his tip speed and is spinning up again! Terrorhurtz, it seems, is not dead yet and turning to use his rear goes to backslam into MDU4, yet its Boxed In who comes in first, charging headlong into the demonic spinner!
CRASH!!!
Boxed In is launched again, the front end bashed into the vapourbots chassis, but again thrusting MDU4 in the opposite direction and into the wall; this allows Terrorhurtz to bash into MDU4 again with the back end, without fearing a spin-up, and pin him! Boxed In gets back into the fight and with his rear end slams into MDU4 as well, and the spinner is up against it here now! Theyre pushing him towards a CPZ, and Terrorhurtzs axe comes down! WHACK! Again no effect! Boxed In decides that its had enough of Terrorhurtzs interference and pushes past the axebot, and backslams MDU4 into the wall! WHAM! MDU4 bounces off and away from the wall, exactly what Aaron was hoping for. Terrorhurtz is moving more slowly now, and Boxed In gets an idea and tries to get under Terrorhurtz but the rear static forks deny him his wish. MDU4 is back at full speed now, so the next hit could decide it! Terrorhurtz slides away, but Boxed In follows him and shoves him into the wall! As Terrorhurtz tries to push Boxed In away, the spinning Vortex of Destruction approaches! Boxed In tries to turn and ram, but MDU4 is way too close!!!
CRASH!!!!
Apparently 480mph is a good tip speed, because it has sent Boxed In not only into the wall, but bouncing diagonally off of it and into the other wall! The side has been almost completely ripped open. Of course, this once again means that MDU4 has sent himself backwards...AND RIGHT INTO DBMS CPZ!!!

MDU4 is mashed away like a pinball, one of the three sides seriously dented! Terrorhurtz bravely charges MDU4 again...and it doesnt look like MDU4 can get up to full speed!

Nonetheless, its a hit, as Terrorhurtz is sent spinning away, the rear taking a rip in the Lexan. Boxed In seems to have only his right side drive working...Terrorhurtz turns and rams Boxed In instead, and slams him into the arena wall. MDU4...cant spin up that well now, is something wrong? Terrorhurtz lashes out his axe! WHACK! Boxed Ins top armour is badly dented! Matty Fowler looks nervous in the control booth, as Boxed In is unable to get away from Terrorhurtz! WHACK! Another hit and Boxed Ins top armour is getting...boxed in! :proud: It seems MDU4 is having some problems of its own, and Terrorhurtz goes forward...very slowly. Well, all three bots are very much damaged here...Terrorhurtzs damaged front end is also beginning to take its toll on him. Boxed In...seems to be having a hard time moving its other tires now...The Watcher is coming over to have a look. Aaron steers MDU4 over towards Boxed In, hardly spun up enough to cause much damage as Terrorhurtz slams into them. He gets spun around a little but thats all thats done as Terrorhurtz disregard the front end and tackle MDU4s temporarily-immobilized spinning body and try to shove it around...its more mobile than Boxed In, however, as the rambot is now completely stationary! The Watcher is out of standby mode, and into countdown mode!

Baldur Gamma vs. Cyclone Force 2.5 vs. NSBFR-X
Baldur Gamma is so compact you could fit it in a beer cooler. :proud: Its also Alex Holts toughest machine, with 5mm titanium kevlar over a very thick Hardox chassis. At the front is a lifting scoop that can lift about its own weight, but its more than just a weapon. It has about 40mm of titanium foam added to its heavy shockproofing to absorb heavy hits, with a 5mm hardox plate overtop. This means that it has over 50mm of armour in front, and with LEM drive, should be practically invulnerable to anything! ...really? It looks like it could be flipped easily...
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Cyclone Force 2.5 is Christopher Masons chameleon bot with many gimmicks, but for this battle it will use the Storm 2-like lifter that can lift 190kgs. Its also got a body shape and drive system like Storm 2s, and 7mm titanium armour. It can go at 25mph, but using the lifter means it sacrifices its invertibility that it has with other set-ups.
C&BT1: Did not enter.
NSBFR-X is Frank Goachers chameleon bot. :proud: He DOES have a spinning bar, a 5kg one to be exact that spins at 1500rpm. Its shape is an invertible box wedge with rounded sides, plus side and rear skirts. It has 5mm titanium armour and its 4W LEM-drive gives it a top speed of 20mph but it doesnt perform as well in melees as it should. It is invertible, though, which should help, even with the spinning bar.

Its on! And so are our three other bots as Cyclone Force heads for the rather impressive-looking Baldur Gamma. Baldur meets Cyclone Force head-on, but the scoop of Baldur defeats Chris interchange bot and shoves him into an incoming NSBFR-X, with the bar spun up!
CRASH!
Its a good hit, but the rear of Cyclone Force withstands the blow as NSBFR-X is thrown aside. Baldur however continues to push Cyclone Force, past NSBFR-X, and eventually arriving at his destination: the arena wall! WHAM! Cyclone Force is jolted up, the underbelly past the top of Baldurs scoop, and he is thrown up onto his butt, leaning against the arena wall! Baldur backs off, and the lifter comes into play, pushing Cyclone Force off the wall but unfortunately right into the waiting scoop of Baldur, who again shoves him into the wall, and the same thing happens; Cyclone Force is on his ass against the wall! NSBFR-X comes forward this time, and before the lifter can push him off the wall, Cyclone Force is attacked by that spinning bar! WHAP! Its not a crash, because something else vital has been hit: CYCLONE FORCES RIGHT REAR TIRE!!! The rubber is gone and lying below Cyclone Force...which he lands on. Baldur comes forward, but too soon, catching the side of NSBFR-X and tilted off course. Cyclone Force jets away, though not as peppy as before with one of his tires decimated. Baldur gives chase immediately, and easily catches up to Chris bot, however the skirts defeatd Baldur and he is thrown up onto Cyclone Force. With the push of a button, Chris activates the lifter and he is satisifed to see Baldurs compact frame tilt up...up...and over as Alex frowns slightly in the opposite control booth. Frank isnt interested in attacking Baldur, though, as NSBFR-X still goes for Cyclone Force, and slams into the front!
CRASH!
Another blow, still rather deflective but a small dent has been in the front nonetheless. Cyclone Force now heads for NSBFR-X but still thwarted by the earlier attack on the tire, and misses him by an inch. NSBFR-X gets to the side again but Cyclone Force turns to keep the front facing him. Baldur rushes in unexpectedly and tackles NSBFR-X from the side but again is out of luck, and the spinning bar nicks the scoops corner, causing absolutely no damage to it. It does, however, give the nearby Cyclone Force a chance to attack, and drives into NSBFR-Xs bar, and shunting him away from Baldur pushes him into the wall. Oof. NSBFR-X is thrown up onto the lifter, which Chris once again activates, only to be rammed from behind by Baldur, who finally slides under the rear skirt and under Cyclone Force and NSBFR-X as well. Cyclone Force is thrown into NSBFR-X and thrown over, but NSBFR-X is pushed overtop of Cyclone Force and on top of Baldur. Baldur spins around and throws NSBFR-X off of him, allowing the spinner to go free, as Cyclone Force tries to self-right...and hits the wall! Not good! NSBFR-X approaches Cyclone Force and waits to see if it can self-right. Baldur isnt too keen on letting NSBFR-X going through unscathed and turning to face Franks creation rams the left side skirt, again thwarted. NSBFR-X turns and the spinning bar hits the scoop again, which still does no damage to the scoop. Cyclone Force is again trying unsuccessfully to right itself, and The Watcher looks concerned, and takes a ride over to that spot. Taki and Whamlet head on over as well. NSBFR-X has Baldur now on his wedge, and smashes him into the arena wall, sending him into a CPZ! Taki and Whamlet appear unconcerned however, as Cyclone Force is about to be counted out!

Its over for Cyclone Force, as Chris looks dejected, but the house robots are gleeful! Whamlet tackles Cyclone Force and pushes him against the wall, throwing down the axes. WHACK! Nice holes are made in the underbelly, and Whamlet drags him away, and towards the flame pit! All of a sudden, Whamlet is blindsided by a slam from NSBFR-X - no, from Baldur pushing NSBFR-X! :proud: Whamlet is knocked aside and slammed into another wall! Its clear that Taki is disapproving of this, and the ninjabot has a go at Baldurs sides, getting under them and shoving Baldur all the way across the arena into the opposite wall! WHAM!! What a huge slam! And Baldur goes flying! NSBFR-X isnt too worried, as hes pushing Cyclone Force towards the pit! Whamlet wheels around and tackles NSBFR-X, and pushes them...over the pit? You forgot to open it, boy! :proud: Whamlet goes to open the pit release button, but NSBFR-X gives him a blow with the bar!
CRASH!
Whamlet is hardly damaged by that, but it does throw him into the pit release button. Cyclone Force teeters...and topples in, as Baldur joins in a little too late.

Look, as much as I hate to launch complaints, Im going to have to...because it goes completely against my robots abilities.
Why did I even try to self-right? If I was upside-down with the lifter, thered be no point in trying to self-right, so Id just drive away and resort to sheer pushing power. Theres no point, or need, to self-right when youre fully invertible, even if the weapon doesnt work that way.
Yay! The battle Baldur was build for, now to see if it can live up to it, lol.
Obviously, its just going to have to continuously ram it headlong on, even though it probably cant damage me persay try to keep it getting up to speed because even with my massive padding there is still an outside chance of shock damage with somethign that powerful, plus the knockback would keep me off the attack. Get under it and tilt it upwards using the scoop so that it cant spin up.
Im a bit late but woohoo! I managed to beat Wedge Devo without even posting tactics. Great fight by the way Kody. Psst, Paul! Dont let them know that the sucker doesnt work! :proud: For Round 2 of this heat, Ill expect NSBFR-X and Baldur Gamma to go through and meet each other in the final.
Guys, stop getting so excited. The second fight was wrong on so many levels (and Im not saying that just because I lost) and Im not happy with it.
Wait...Chris...does Cyclone Force run inverted, even with all set-ups? For some reason I thought it didnt. :sad:
Cyclone Force falls off Panicking€™s forks, inverted, and Sky Blast ends up on top of Panicking! Martyn smells blood and reverses his machine, hoping to get rid of his piggyback riding opponent like his inspirer Panic Attack has done so many times, in the pit! Panicking€™s control however is inferior to that of the late Panic Attack, and Sky Blast falls off. Enter Cyclone Force, who is far from helpless inverted. The interchangeable bot aims to ram Sky Blast€™s side now, and does so with great success! Sky Blast narrowly steers away before meeting the arena wall though, and immediately turns to Cyclone Force! Cyclone Force dodges the initial attack, and has another go! The inverted wedge touches Sky Blast€™s side again, but actually goes over it! Cyclone Force€™s front-GC is just too bloody when inverted.

Cyclone Force is immediately away and straight into Baldur Gamma, who is unable to get under the lifter and is thrown up onto it. NSBFR-X rushes in on Cyclone Force with the spinning bar, applying his tactics immediately.
CRASH!
Its a deflecting blow but it still manages to dent the 7mm titanium of Cyclone Force; nonetheless NSBFR-X spins himself away. Cyclone Force himself hasnt moved from the impact, and is being pushed into the wall! Up comes the lifter! WHAM! Baldur is lifted and smashed into the wall with severe force! NSBFR-X rushes Cyclone Force again with the bar spun up.

This time there is damage caused, but minimal only! A small rip in the rear of Cyclone Force is made, and NSBFR-X is only jolted back a few inches. Cyclone Force reverses into Franks bot and starts to push him back, only to find Baldur at his side, and the scoop gets under the side! Baldurs wheels grind as he starts to shove Cyclone Force across the arena and all the way right to the wall with tremendous speed! WHAM!! Chris bot is hammered harshly and flies off the wall, landing on his back! This only means he cant use the lifter though, as Cyclone Force runs both ways up. But NSBFR-X is about to let him feel a taste of cold steel!
CRASH!!
The same side that Baldur attacked earlier takes it this time, dented badly, as Cyclone Force is spun away. NSBFR-X hardly moves from the impact and rues it as Baldur comes flying in for an attack on him this time. Failing to penetrate the side skirt the ram sends NSBFR-X teetering in the opposite direction slightly. This allows Cyclone Force however to get an attack in on the rear. A ram into the back of NSBFR-X, but still not going anywhere. NSBFR-X rolls forward and tries to turn to get at Baldurs side, only to find the scoop there anyway.
CRASH!
Baldur takes the hit and is completely unharmed, other than being buffetted back a few feet. NSBFR-X however and buffetted back several feet this time, unable to maintain his ground! Cyclone Force decides to try and right himself so he can use the lifter properly. He turns to face the wall, and drives right at it, raising the lifter to lift him off the ground a split-second before, and...WHAM! He jumps up, and back down right side up! NSBFR-X has not been idle however and escaping Baldur attacks Cyclone Forces front end again. Cyclone Force greets the spinning bar immediately.
CRASH!
Another small dent, now on the front armour, but its again deflective, sending NSBFR-X away and straight into Baldurs scoop! Its obvious that Alex is quite pleased by this as Baldur scoops up NSBFR-X and craters him into the wall! WHAM!! NSBFR-X imitates what happened to Cyclone Force, spinning away, tilting, and dropping back down onto his back! He is also invertible though and really, nothing changes. However Cyclone Force has got at his rear, and this time penetrates the skirt. NSBFR-X tries to turn and attack but is blocked by the lifter, and it begins to lift as NSBFR-X is pushed and lifted straight into the wall! WHAM! NSBFR-X is again rammed with great force, and flies off, looking a little battered. Its Baldur though that finally has had enough and reverses into the pit release button, opening that damned hole. :proud: Cyclone Force goes after NSBFR-X again and meets that spinning bar once more!
CRASH!!

In fact, hes ramming right into NSBFR-X again, and stopping the hardly spun-up bar slams into him and uses the lifter to lift up NSBFR-X and again slam him ala Storm II into the wall! WHAM!! Baldur gets back into the fight by slamming into Cyclone Forces side, but Chris quickly backs his machine away...to find Baldur chasing him down! However its clear that its not so good for Alex as the scoop again cant fight the ground clearance of the lifter, and Cyclone Force repeats what he did with the now shaken NSBFR-X: SLAM! WHAM! Baldur is pounded against the wall fiercely and bounces away! NSBFR-X gets his bearings back and spins his weapon up, but will it be too late?

Baldur is also recovering, but manages to attack NSBFR-Xs side, sliding under it and taking him across the arena...to the wall opposite! WHAM!

Cyclone Force chases after the both of them, and gets under Baldurs rear as NSBFR-X goes flying by.

Baldur is lifted up but falls back down, and smoke is starting to spout from NSBFR-X...

Terrorhurtz, eh? Well, one fight comes to mind here...its S5 clash against Fluffy. Go for the disc option and smash it to pieces.
You know, its just occured to me right now that my choice for set-ups to use has completely gone against what I said Id use at the start. Nevermind, Ill stick with the first three.

Terrorhurtz (15) barely survived the first round, but Mass Disctruction Ultimate 4 killed off Boxed In first.
Cyclone Force 2.5 sent out NSBFR-X on a judges decision when tying Baldur Gamma for 1st spot.

Both bots are out of their spots immediately, and Cyclone Force being the quicker slams into Terrorhurtz with the disc!
CRASH!
Terrorhurtz lurches around, a small dent in its front end, but nothing too serious yet, and so turns back to face Cyclone Force, to find the Storm-shaped bot retreating to spin its blade back up! Hurriedly Terrorhurtz gears towards the disc, and stops it before it can achieve deadly speeds. Cyclone Force thus is shoved back into the wall, tilted slightly. Down comes the axe...striking floor! Cyclone Force had not been idle and shifted to the right to avoid the axe, and gets away to spin up its disc. As Terrorhurtz chases him down, retracting the axe, Cyclone Force reverses into the pit release button, opening the pit once again. Terrorhurtz does not meet his front but tries to slide an attack at the side. A little sloppily, however, as Cyclone Force merely turns and catches the side!
CRASH!!!
The Series 6 Grand Finalist is sent flying by the sheer brute force of that disc, also sustaining a wider gash in the polycarbonate armour! Out comes Cyclone Force from the wall, Chris looking happy that his machine inflicted some damage, but Martyn isnt going to give in just yet. Terrorhurtz comes flying into the fray, forcing Cyclone Force to avoid the charge so his disc can reach maximum potential but he doesnt get the chance! The front wedge of Terrorhurtz finds its path to Cyclone Forces side and the 15th seeds axe flies down into Cyclone Forces top armour! It slams into the 7mm titanium armour and bounces off, actually causing hardly any damage, but the axe comes down again, and ...again, no damage, and Cyclone Force escapes. Terrorhurtz chases after him, intent on beating that titanium into a thin pulp, but he had failed to notice that Cyclone Forces disc had reached full speed during his own attack, and now it comes back to bite him as Chris turns his bot around and drives it into Terrorhurtzs front wedge!
CRASH!!!
Martyn is dismayed, as Terrorhurtz is flung across the arena, one of the panels making up the wedge ripped right off! Cyclone Force hunts him down again, disc already 3/4 of the way up to speed, but then Terrorhurtz flies at him with the rear wedge, right out of the blue!
CRASH!
Its Terrorhurtz that takes the blow but its Cyclone Force thats worse off here as Terrorhurtz has not taken any damage from that blow, nor had he been moved at all, and now throwing him up near the axe head smashes Cyclone Force into the wall! WHAM! Chris tries desperately to manoeuvre his machine away from the rampaging axebot but hes trapped against the wall, and the axe hits from reverse! WHACK! The 7mm titanium again withstands the blow but a tiny dent is now made this time, maybe not too visible, and the axe comes down again - oh! The axe shaft hit Cyclone Forces side, stopping Terrorhurtzs attack? What an interesting turn of events! Martyn seems to realize this too and moves Terrorhurtz forward a little, but in doing so Cyclone Force makes his getaway, riding off of the edge of the rear and away! It seems Terrorhurtz is becoming tired of this assault, as he is not really in a hurry to finish this, moving rather lamely across the arena...but Cyclone Force is, and that deadly disc smashes into Terrorhurtzs front end!
CRASH!!!
Cyclone Force must be impressed with itself, as Terrorhurtz is again knocked away, hit in the exact same front spot as before, devoid of the wedge, and the polycarbonate is sliced up brutally! Chris backs his machine away from the 15th seed, to find that he might not need to do much more to win, as Terrorhurtz moves with even less agility than before! Martyn is quite displeased with this result, but even more so when he sees Cyclone Force barge in with the disc again! Terrorhurtz tries to dodge the attack but at this point its...pointless! :proud:
CRASH!!!
Its the other side of the front that takes it, but that wedge takes the blow, though getting smashed up in the process. Terrorhurtz charges forward to try and take advantage but Cyclone Force is much quicker by now and backs off to spin up his disc for an attempt at a killing blow. Martyn decides to rely on the pit and Terrorhurtz moves towards it, but Cyclone Force again rushes in, disc back up at speed, right into the untorn side!
CRASH!!!
The blow sends Terrorhurtz spinning into the wall, past the pit release button, and coming to a halt between Taki-sans CPZ and the pit! Terrorhurtz does not seem to be moving now...no, it isnt! Martyn frantically works the controls but nothing seems to be working...and resignedly puts it down as The Watcher comes near and starts counting Terrorhurtz out.

And its now over and out for Terrorhurtz, as Taki confirms by shunting him down the pit.

Baldur Gamma comes FLYING right out of his spot...to meet a half-spun-up MDU4!
CRASH!!!
Baldur is sent flying right across the arena and into the far wall, right near the spinner button, seemingly taking the blow on the front well. However MDU4 is also sent flying, and in his case its not so good, as its right at Tira-sans CPZ! The house bot gives one of MDU4s three sides a taste of her blade!
CRASH!
The 4mm hardox takes the blow well, but it also sends MDU4 flying...RIGHT INTO BALDURS SCOOP! The green and purple sparks have hardly faded when Baldur cradles MDU4 into the scoop, and lifts it up, and MDU4 is slammed into and on top of Tira, Baldur crashing into them a split-second later! Asterix flies out as though that was a signal, and smashes into Baldurs rear end, throwing him skyward, and into MDU4, knocking him further into the CPZ! Tira shunts MDU4 away and goes to spin her blade back up, and Baldur pushes MDU4 away as Asterix pushes him in to have a go, and crashes into MDU4, tilting him up again! Aaron is frustrated now, trying all that he can to try and spin his beast up but its not working for him at all, and so that was good tactics by Alex and Baldur Gamma, shoving him into Tiras CPZ to stop him from rotating! Baldur decides to let Asterix have some fun and backs out of the CPZ...to have Tiras blade meet his rear end!
CRASH!!!
Baldur smashes into the wall heavily, rather undamaged, but covered in colourful sparks! :proud: Baldur turns in wrath and tackles Tira, sliding under her and shoving her all the way across the arena straight into the wall, raising the scoop as he does so! WHAM!!! Tira soars, flying up, and over onto her back! Baldur shoves into her again and stacks her up against the wall to prevent her from doing any more damage, and then goes back to the CPZ, where Asterix has released MDU4, however Aaron doesnt have much breathing room as Baldur smashes into him again before he can spin up at all! WHAM! WHAM! Straight back into the CPZ! Tira uses that srimech to get herself off the wall and back onto her wheels, and now goes after Baldur in equal wrath. MDU4 is stacked himself against the wall, but Asterix tackles him and MDU4 falls right back onto the wedge! Baldur turns to find Tiras spun up blade right in his face!
CRASH!!!
Baldur ricochets off the wall and into Asterixs side, Asterix hardly noticing, but the scoop is still intact and more or less in on piece! Tira realizes this too late, as Baldur drives into the stalled blade, and again shoves her across the arena, and raising the scoop lifts her...WHAM! Tira again flies...OVER THE FENCE!!! Just barely, though! She was stack-slammed against the wall, tilted onto the railing, and fell out! MDU4 cant get away from Asterix, but The Watcher tackles Asterix to let him know his fun time is over, but Baldur hurries back, just as MDU4 begins to finally spin up.
CRASH!
Its not monumental, but it does send Baldur lurching a little, but it does mean MDU4 gets to spin up more! Baldur turns and buries the scoop in!
CRASH!!
The crash is louder, as Baldur is flung again, farther this time, and MDU4 throws himself against the wall! Baldur Gamma spins around to let the audience know hes still alive, and then flies extremely fast, right back at MDU4s who almost achieved his full speed, his fastest yet!
CRASH!!!
Baldur is launched across the arena, even thrown into the air, but its MDU4 who takes the REAL force, catapulting back into Tiras vacated CPZ, now occupied by Asterix! The gaul-bot slams MDU4 into the CPZ opposite and holds him there, as Baldur returns to the fray, the scoop actually a little buckled now. The Watcher comes towards the CPZ and shunts Asterix again but Baldur intervenes and catches one of MDU4s blades, pushing further into the CPZ, right to the corner! Asterix backs off, but Baldur enters the CPZ and positions the scoop under MDU4! The scoop raises and lifts him against the wall! Aaron panics with the controls, but Alex is ectastic with the situation, and before Asterix can move into the CPZ again, Baldurs scoop lifts MDU4s frame up, up, AND DOWN!!! MDU4 crashes outside of the arena, defeated! What a fight!

CYCLONES TACTICS
I think Ill go for the claws this time, and try for a quick and simple grab and pit. He can flip, so the lifter may not be as effective as Id like, and as hes shock absorbant, the disc wont be that effective. I believe Ill use the claws and my superior power, which Im fairly confident I have.
Woo, I wish Beat MDU one on one was something I could justify puttign in my awards section, lol. Very very pleased with that, great fights Kody.
Well I never really have to worry about damage, and Ill look up the stats for cycolne before I make my final decision, but initially just try and outmanouver and ram around the arena a bit, hopefully into house robots and hazards and so on.
Heat H Final
Cyclone Force 2.5 vs. Baldur Gamma - I believe this to be a very close battle. They both have the equal amounts of power, but Cyclone Force has the more traction, and I believe that Chris will triumph in winning against Baldur.

Cyclone Force 2.5 went through with Baldur after sending NSBFR-X back to the lost and found box on a judges decision, and then took out the 15th seed Terrorhurtz, straight down the pit.
Baldur Gamma, after going through with Cyclone Force, shocked the audience after giving one of the most feared vapourbots, Mass Disctruction Ultimate 4, a taste of the arena camera track!

Its Cyclone Force whos the quicker here, and already trying to ram the front of Baldur, but Baldur is not heading for the front of Cyclone Force in turn; instead, its heading towards one of the claws! There is a slight bang as the scoop smacks into the left side claw, and Baldur begins to push the Cyclone back towards the arena wall!
Cyclone Force tilts and manages to get his right claw around the side but due to the angle of the clamp he cannot get a firm hold of Baldur, who breaks out of the clench, turns around, and buries himself into Chris bots front end fully this time. Cyclone Force goes to clamp in, but is interrupted by his rear end being smashed into the arena wall! The scoop comes in again and tilts Cyclone Force up against the arena wall! Baldur however goes too far with the push, and Cyclone Force falls sideways, off the arena wall, and onto his back. Baldur turns to face the now inverted Cyclone Force, but it seems that Chris made his bot disappear! This of course isnt the case as Cyclone Force comes in at Baldurs side and tackles him into the same wall, and the claws grip! Baldur tries to get away, but his rear end is caught by Cyclone Forces claw...and tilted upwards! Chris growls in frustration, seeing that Cyclone Force fails again to get a good clamp in on Baldur, but realizes that since Baldur is on top of Cyclones clenched claws, he can take him anywhere! And thats just what Cyclone Force does! He heads straight for the pit release button, but Baldur is really putting up a struggle in the claws, and lifts the scoop. Both Alex and Chris gawk at the result, as Baldur lifts himself out of Cyclone Forces grip, the scoop still between the claws, and then falls beside his former captor, scoop upraised. Chris reacts first, though, and Cyclone Force, whipping around bores into him. This proves to be quite lethal, as he successfully slides under the scoop as it lowers and clamps around Baldurs sides! The claws now have a firm grip, however not piercing the 5mm hardox sides, but exerting enough pressure to keep them there. And Cyclone Forces traction comes back to aid him here, as he forces Baldur back towards the pit release button. Baldur lifts the scoop and lowers it down on Cyclone Force in vain, and soon enough gets his rear end acquainted with the pit release! :proud: The pit descends, but Baldur is definitely not going to go down without a fight! Alex almost snaps his controls as Baldur tries to push Cyclone Force back. Chris smirks and reverses Cyclone Force, allowing Baldur to push him back, and then tries to turn with Baldur pushing back, and so lining him up with the pit. His smirk becomes a frown as he finds he cannot do so, and so pushes Baldur back into the pit release button. The Watcher jumps in at this point and tackles the pair of them, as Cyclone Force has had enough fun with the claws. Chris looks sulky as Cyclone Force releases Baldur from its grasp, and backs off. Baldur rejoices in lowering his scoop, and the tide of this battle is going back to Baldur now as the MDU-killer slams into him. Cyclone Force tries to push him back, but ends up going onto the scoop and slammed into the wall! This however rights him, and he can now again take advantage of his low side ground clearance thanks to the skirts. Alex isnt worried about those skirts it seems, driving Baldur towards the front for another assault. Cyclone Force turns and Baldur slams into the side of him. The scoop is foiled by the skirts and Baldur drives on top of the chameleon-bot. Cyclone Force spins around and knocks Baldur off of him, and Chris is delighted to find Baldurs rear end exposed completely. Alex is alarmed and tries to drive off but the arena wall is too close and Baldur slams right into it. Cyclone Forces claws find the sides again but from the rear this time, and clamp down! Baldur fights it as best he can but Cyclone Force is slowly beginning to drag him backwards...and so Baldur thrusts backwards. Cyclone Force is pushed back now, not only by Baldur, but by his own reversal, and nearly hits the wall opposite, but able to turn this time slams Baldur into the arena wall. Baldurs scoop raises and he backs towards Cyclone Force, trying to force him back, but Cyclone Force has the greatest grip now, by both claw and tire :proud:, and shoves him along the wall...into the angle grinder! Alex lowers the scoop in time, as it hits the grinder. The grinder is unable to inflict its potential and Baldur is unharmed. Cyclone Force however is disappointed that he hasnt been able to give a death blow yet (preferably the pit) and tries to drag Baldur away, yet Alexs bot is quite a pain to deal with - AND HES ESCAPED! Baldur has slipped between the claws and...driven right back into the angle grinder. :proud: Thrown about 90 degrees, he backs away from the wall he is facing, and has a go at Cyclone Force who is catching up to him. Chris smashes his bot into Alexs with the force of a hurricane, only to find Alex pushing back with all of his might, and Cyclone Force backs off, causing to Baldur to fly forwards. Cyclone Force attacks the rear, but Baldur spins around in time to ward the attack off.

Baldur shoves Cyclone Force towards Double Big Macs CPZ, but again Cyclone Force pulls out of the ram in time, as Baldur flies by and almost hits the house bot!

Heres my prediction for Heat I
Shovearound 2 (16) vs. Cosmic Thunder 2 vs. Knightrous Wedge - Shovearound 2 is a lethal push-bot, possibly more powerful than either of these two put together (Note the possibly:proud:) and I believe that Shovearound will go through instantly. Cosmnic Thunder doesnt have good armour except for on the front, but if he gets under, then Aaron will be getting the train home!
Panicking vs. Metal Sonic Spin Dash vs. Powerpoint the Thrasher 5 - Matty has designed a brilliant robot, with only 1 flaw in it - the bar is too high to fight robots anymore. The bar is 30cm off the ground, and both these machines are 15-20cm off the ground. Say goodbye for PTT5!

Nice fight, I thought it would be tough. Congratulations to a worthy opponent, and an equally worthy writer.
All I can is that that was a major relief. Considering everything Cyclone Force went through during this heat (dont worry Kody, it was a misunderstanding), I didnt think Id beat Baldur. Oh well...I HAVE AT LEAST ONE ROBOT THROUGH TO THE SEMI-FINALS!!!

Wrong, Paul. It doesnt say anywhere in PTT5s stats that the weapon is 30cm off the ground. In fact the removable link is above it, and the whole vapourbot is 28cm high! Think about that. :wink:

Well, the tournament is progressing nicely, and were through half of our heats! Lets start Heat I!
Shovearound 2 (16) vs. Cosmic Thunder 2 vs. Knightrous Wedge
Shovearound 2 (16) is the last seed of our tournament but that makes him pretty good. Hes got 12mm hardox armour, lifting forks that lift 150kg, 4 LEM130s giving it a 28mph top speed, and double skirts to stop wedge attacks. It looks really durable, but isnt it just a TAD overweight...? :proud:
C&BT1: Shoved the Breed twins down the pit, then took out Tough As Nails, but then a beating from Warrior SKF proved to be its downfall in the Heat F final.
Cosmic Thunder 2 seems to make all his opponents thunderstruck. :proud: Hes like Voltronic but with a flipper, and 6mm titanium sides and a 9mm Lexan front wedge. Some MagMotors and 2 half-foot wheels give it a 16mph and invertibility, but it can right itself anyway so its weapon can work properly. Its armour is mostly average, though, and it wont have the greatest pushing power if it cant get under something.
C&B1: Did not enter.
Knightrous Wedge is a brother akin to Aaron Knights other wedgebot, The Ultimate Wedge. It goes at 40mph due to a unique hydra-static drivetrain never before featured in an FRA bot, and also uses complicated microchip technology to help it maintain control, even at that high speed. Coupled with multiple Hardox armouring, skirts, and a Slam Job-like shape, this compact design certainly takes Knightrous to a whole new level. :proud:
C&BT1: Rammed the hell out of Toby the T-Ram Engine but then fell to 13th seed Axeon in round 2 of Heat A.

Shovearound goes for Cosmic Thunder, but Knightrous Wedge cuts him off, and both of them are banging into the others front, but unable to get under. Knightrous Wedge seems to be the more powerful here (*GASP*) and starts to push the FFW4 champ backwards. Cosmic Thunder enters the scene with a shove to Shovearounds skirt :proud: but it fails, and Cosmic Thunder drives up onto the skirt. This does surprise Tony enough to try and turn to attack Alex but Aaron bores forward and pushes Shovearound against the wall. Shovearound lowers the forks deeper towards the ground but its not helping. Cosmic Thunder attacks Knightrous Wedge now, and this time is successful: the skirts of Knightrous Wedge are penetrated, and before Aaron can get the hell away, FLIP! An Aaron bot is upsy-downy! Shovearound pushes the now inverted Knightrous Wedge backwards, and Cosmic Thunder joins in, but Aaron rights his bot almost instantly, and Knightrous Wedge lands away from his pursuers, and turnns to face an incoming Shovearound. CLANG. They come together and again its a stalemate. Cosmic Thunder goes for those lovely skirts of Knightrous Wedge but he doesnt get them on this attempt, and throws himself onto them. Knightrous Wedge is again pushing the other pusher backwards, surprising the crowd. Alex is furious to find out he cant get under the skirts this time and tries again, only for Knightrous Wedge to back into him and throw him off the rear skirt, over the top and right onto the wedge! FLIP! Cosmic Thunder is on his head! Shovearound decides to take advantage of this situation and heads instead for Alexs machine, which runs away from Shovearound but is unable to avoid him for long and activates the flipper, righting him, but right on top of Shovearound! Knightrous Wedge bangs into Shovearound from behind, and tries to force his way under the rear skirting but nothing doing. Shovearound is forced into the wall though, with Cosmic Thunder on top, and WHAM! The forks hit the wall, bending ever so slightly. Shovearound tries to push back, but Aarons bot is in complete control, and decides to use the flipper to lift up the skirt. FLIP! It works! :proud: Knightrous Wedge slides under Shovearound AND Cosmic Thunder, but with the flipper upraised hes not going to be doing much flipping! Shovearound is brought from the wall, but raises the forks in case Cosmic Thunder falls off, but Alexs bot falls to the side instead. Knightrous Wedge throws Tonys bot right into the wall again! WHAM! Aaron smiles, as Shovearounds forks are bent again, this time much more noticeably! This also means however that the flipper ram of Aarons bot has been rammed against Shovearounds rear as well, and the flipbot releases Team Hitmens most successful robot. Knightrous Wedge lowers the flipper, and backs away as Cosmic Thunder runs right at him for a frontal assault, and their flippers collide now, and once more a stalemate. Alex knows however that hes not going to be able to outpush a hydra-static drivetrain and twists around in reverse, but Knightrous Wedge hadnt moved at all, but now turns and rams Cosmic Thunders side as a thank you gift :proud:. Shovearound is still very much mobile, and decides to get back in on the action by giving Cosmic Thunder a nice shove with the forks, and sliding under the Dutch bot lifts it up, allowing Knightrous Wedge to slide under it, and the flipper is still working because FLIP! Cosmic Thunder is tossed across the arena and lands near the wall, on its side! Shovearound nervously backs away from the Australian flipper but it rams into Shovearound, as the flipper closes: the forks of Tonys bot look dont look too hot now, but they still manage to repel another ram from Knightrous Wedge as they lock lifting weapons again. Cosmic Thunder thrusts its flipper against the wall, and lands right-side-up and ready for another attack. Aaron decides to do what he did before and FLIP! Shovearounds forks are jolted with great force, pointing skyward! Cosmic Thunder bores in now and rams Knightrous Wedge from the side, unable to get under the skirts but the skirt unable to get under him, forcing another cancel out. Knightrous Wedge once again pushes the forky bot into the wall. Oof. Shovearound tries to lower the forks, but finds it cannot do so! Knightrous Wedge backs off to lower its flipper, allowing Cosmic Thunder to come flying in, and it cheekily slides under Shovearound and tosses it! FLIP! Shovearound lands on his back, forks forced down, but still not working! Knightrous Wedge rams into Cosmic Thunder from the side, and sliding under it, tosses it! Cosmic Thunder does a 360 and lands on top of Shovearound, but slides off it and lets out a mighty snort from the flipper. Shovearound tries to turn away from the wall, and does so, only to meet Knightrous Wedges front and tilt towards its side, its battered forks foiled by the skirt. Knightrous backs off, lines up, and is interrupted by Cosmic Thunder, :proud: who tackles the rear of the Aussie and gets under him! FLIP! Knightrous Wedge goes for a loop, but just as he hits the ground on his back, self-rights. Shovearound comes in to attack but isnt quick enough to take advantage of Knightrous Wedges invertedness, and finds himself at a skirt! Knightrous Wedge turns and slides under the forks with ease now, and stacks Shovearound onto his wedge. Cosmic Thunder tries to rescue Shovearound...and seems to! He gets under Knightrous Wedges skirt...but cant seem to flip! Aaron grins, drives off of the Dutch bot towards the wall, allowing Cosmic thunder to let lout another mighty flip through air, and with the push of a button, sends the 16th seeded American over the fence.

Panicking will send somebody home crying for their mommy. :proud: Its basically real robot Panic Attack with heightened speed, smaller dimensions, and 6W LEM drive. Its armour is 12mm polycarbonate, and its skirts flop over when inverted. Its previously lost to spinners but lets see what this Panic brigade has in store for us. :proud:

Metal Sonic Spin Dash will fly by you in circles if youre not quick enough. :proud: Its a low skirted box, with a front spatula, hooked barbs to catch onto other robots, and a front vertical saw blade like Pussycat to carve into the opposition. When you combine that with 3.75mm hardox armour, 6W LEM drive, 16mph, and a rear CO2 srimech, youve got quite a pestilent hedgehog on your hands, Dr. Robotnik! :proud:

Powerpoint the Thrasher 5 thrashes like a metal band. Its got a nasty spinning disc producing 10kJ, but with sharp teeth to slice n dice. It also has 10mm titanium armour, and skateboard wheels for mobility, plus extra ones not connected to the motors (but still attached anyway) all around the top and bottom corners. Its invertible, but that weapon doesnt look like it could damage either of the armours its up against.

Its a frenzy immediately as all three machines head to the centre of the arena. PTT5 crashes into MSSD first with the blade spun up!
CRASH!
MSSD is thrown a little, but no damage, not even to the disc! Panicking immediately takes the proffered chance and slides under PTT5s ground clearance, lifting it up and slamming it into the nearby wall! WHAM! Steve, seeing PTT5 between a wall and a Panicking, decides to open the pit before he has some more fun, backing into it, ah there it goes. Pit descending. :proud: Anyway, Panicking has got PTT5 trapped against the wall, the disc not spinning, and MSSD crashes the party by tackling the Thrasher, and slightly throwing Panicking aside. The spatula finds its way under PTT5, and the saw find the corner of the underbelly!
CRASH!
Just as ineffective a hit as PTT5 gave to him, yet some nice sparks add to the delight of the crowd. :proud: PTT5 has been knocked against the wall, but Panicking moves in again before he can get off of the wall...and he seems to be trying to lift PTT5 OOTA! This will be very quick if he does...NO! PTT5 falls off of the forks and...onto MSSDs spatula! The Spin Dash gobbles him up immediately and throws him towards the pit! Matty flicks the controls in alarm but its way too late to manoeuvre away, especially when you are already at the bottom of the hole. :proud: BOOM!
