ok, so a little update.
spent all weekend getting the claw and lifting arm working. :) Thanks to Andy for sorting the bugs.
Updated pic on my profile. its going to take a while before its completely finished as it has lots of bugs i need to get out before it can really do some damage.
Better flow control on the hydraulics, as trying to grip something with 6 tons of crush is going to be hard without damaging something.
The drive needs a bit of strenthening as it is too powerful for its own good, then it will need a total strip down before it gets painted.
However it is, if i say so, looking mighty fine and deadly already though, and cant wait to get it in the arena for a play at oldham.

WOW! Major Damage looks good with his sorroundings on ur profile Jonno!
That thing looks awesome :) I can see it being a real crowd pleaser at events
yes Oldham was its first event, and a big testing ground for it.
A few little tweaks required including some strenghtening of certain parts.
But the highlight of the first test, picking mighty mouse out of the pit, showing it to the crowd before spinning it around in the air in the centre of the arena !!!
Certainly a crowd pleaser and the hard work was worth it !!

Well Major Damage was hired for its first Public Appearance last night.
I was working at Coventry College doing a big educational project and they wanted something interesting for their open evening, He stood in front of the main door and replaced the whole of the security staff welcoming potential new students !!!
His diary is filling up nicely with bookings, including a very nice trip to the NEC in 2009 :)
