Most grinders dont have an earth wire. But yes a 3pin plug, but the Earth pin isnt used on some tools.

I actually need one of those RS plugs, I dunno if maplins sell them. Anyone know if there is anywhere else that sells them other than RS ?

its about 1m 2 x 110v grinders (1 modded internaly) so it turns the right way in seris and thats it easy;)

Well I don't bother balancing mine but you are more than welcome to share mine. I use an astroflight charger with a dapter inline.

I'll soon be jumping on a plane to get back to the UK for this event. Thank god I got hornet rebuilt and the racer built 4 months ago :P

Well I'm currently on the other side of the Atlantic so I gotta sort out that problem first :P

I'm gonna be leaving Edinburgh at around 4ish, picking my mate up outside Glasgow then shooting down the west coast overnight. After a transatlantic flight I'm gonna be taking the 400 miles very easy. Especially as I'm now somewhat used to driving on the right in an automatic.

I'm aiming to arrive sometime in the early hours of the morning. Just set yourself up on a bench near or beside me and we will be fine.

And yeah I'm camping

Just about to solder up a couple of battery packs - Carcinus is looking funky 8)
With the claws open its 70cm wide, when the claws are closed the robot's length becomes 85cm :lol:

Dragster's done, Drumroll just needs some failsafes (the Electronize ones were playing up earlier today :? ) and a second battery, Carcinus needs a second battery, power distribution bolts and wiring. The wiring I'll be doing in the back seat of the car on the way down tomorrow :)

Good luck to all going, just got home from helping load up the arena, everyone else is still hard at it. It looks like an all night job!

iv decided to give up on the robots/dragsters for the night, will get back on with them for a few hours in the morning before i set off.
Oh ive got 2 new 32 bore 50 stroke LP (12bar) rams and a used 40 bore 125 stroke LP (10bar) ram, A few 12v drill motors, 2 old wiper motors that came out of the robot scoops and a technobots 40mhz radio gear If anyone wants i can bring them to event. If not there probs going in the bin.
